Mamemon Preview for Booster Set 11

The Digimon Card Game Twitter has updated with a card preview from Booster Set 11 Dimensional Phase. This time it's Mamemon.

Mamemon gets some cutesy art of him standing in front of a V-Pet and someone who most Digimon game fans will recognize.

Hello? THIS IS KOKI ARTIST. You know, all digimons he drew without bones in them! And muscles bending abnormally?! Of course, it applied to even humans. But again, it fits this oddly because DW1's 3D humans looked so... Terrible.

Koki's drawn a lot of human-shape digimon, but on their Twitter you can see art they've done for other projects. They still have that squishy quality you get from a lack of a very dark outline and the soft tones they paint with, along with the exaggerated pliancy, but they tend to proportion their style to the task.

Koki's drawn a lot of human-shape digimon, but on their Twitter you can see art they've done for other projects. They still have that squishy quality you get from a lack of a very dark outline and the soft tones they paint with, along with the exaggerated pliancy, but they tend to proportion their style to the task.

I see. It wasn't meant as a dig on the artist, by the way, I really like their art. I was just amused by how odd Mameo's fingers look.

honestly the weirdest part of this art is Mamemon's steel toes. The ballooning is pretty extreme

I just realized this precious, darling, beautiful, baby boy has the same Play Cost, digivolution cost, and DP as the other Mamemon.

I wonder what Adult digimon is Mameo's partner.

Agumon/Gabumon are the Childs (World 1), they also evolve from Koromon, from the same digitama.
Mamemon is the Perfect (World 1, Next Order).
Mugendramon is the Ultimate (Next Order).

The Adult digimon that can evolve from both Agumon or Gabumon in World 1 are Tyranomon, Centalmon, and Monochromon. But no one can evolve to Mamemon in the game.

Seeing this card, I assume it could be Tyranomon by mixing two references (DM V-Pet and World) and Centalmon cannot evolve to Mamemon in any media.

But, there's a but.

I think Monochromon fits better as the Adult form because reasons.
Agumon is dino dragon while Gabumon is a reptile covered by fur pelt. Monochromon is a dragon covered by hard substance in half of his body. He has horn like Gabumon and quadrupedal like the digimon data of the fur pelt Gabumon uses to cover his body. He is a dragon breed like Agumon and can shoot flame as well like Agumon and Gabumon. He is also good in offense and defense, a very fitting faculty to become the Adult form of the digimon classed to be the strongest, Mamemon and Mugendramon.
And by this BT11-068 card, Monochromon finally is able to evolve to Mamemon.

I wonder what Adult digimon is Mameo's partner.

I kind of assumed that if Mameo went immediately from the Digital World to hanging out with his friends the next day making Mamemon one raised in the Digimon universe, that it was probably obtained through some convoluted process especially when Mameo makes a subtle wink towards the game's difficulty during the ending cutscene with the exchange "you know, you really got good at raising digimon", "ha ha ha, I had to because when I was there I had such a hard time". Mixed with the Silver Ball item letting any adult become Mamemon, I really do imagine this kid evolving from a weird pre-evolutuon like we probably would have as kids lol.

However, it is very possible that the Mamemon he raised was on an actual V1 as we don't know how much later the closing scene takes place from when he returned to the human world. This is what most players would probably assume is implied as most people would have beaten the game with a digimon that isn't Mamemon. This would mean his adult form is almost certainly Tyrannomon (which is awkward as Tyrannomon can't evolve to Mamemon during his Digital World adventure without the Silver Ball).

It's also possible that his v-pet digimon and World digimon are different digimon but I don't think that's likely as his device did literally suck him in to the digimon universe and later spit a physical version of the digimon he was raising out. I also just don't think anybody would like if that were the case

As for Monochromon, besides all the things I say above, I also like the idea of the names in his evolution. Monochromon as 1. Mamemon, from the shape of it, as 0, and Mugendramon as ∞.
An Analog boy in a Digital world. A world of infinite binary.
This is very insignificant but again, it reminds me of V-Tamer 01 where 0 is Zero, also the shape of Zeromaru's chubby body and 1 is Taichi.

I assumed that Mameo had an increased roster because being in the Digital World gave access to a lot more data compared to the Digital Monster toy's restrictions and that the roster of his human world toy matches the V1.
It could be possible that his in-universe v-pet in the human world and the Digimon World game we play have the same monsters and evolutions but there seems to be no way to know with the material we have so it's 100% up to personal interpretation.

You probably meant Monochromon.

Anyway, Tyrannomon can evolve to Mamemon in most recent games like Cyber Sleuth and Links, so I go with him. Agumon and Gabumon both have access to Tyrannomon in World 1 too.

Funnily enough despite the game saying his Mamemon's Mega form is Machinedramon, you can't actually evolve Mamemon to Machinedramon in Next Order.
