Majiramon Preview for Booster Set 6

The Digimon Card Game Twitter has updated with a card preview from Booster Set 6 Double Diamond. This time it's Majiramon!

Majiramon gets some really nice art that features him doing his Vedhaka special, firing 104 of the treasure arrows it makes from it's hair. It playing with it's mustache gives him the appearance of an old master from a kung fu movie, while also playing into him pulling the whiskers to help make the Bao Shi arrows themselves.


Booster Set 6 Double Diamond is scheduled for release on May 28th.

This guy is so sassy.

I guess there is a connection between Airdramon with Azulongmon and Goldramon (if you don't go with Patamon) now without having to go for AeroVeedrmon, CrysPaledramon and Wingdramon or something non-dragon.

Not gonna lie sometimes I wonder, if people who actually play the card game seriously look at my "logical evolution line" comments and find them redundant and as not adding anything of substance to the card game conversation.

I guess he's here to tie into Azulongmon. I wonder if Antylamon and Mihiramon will be in it too. Deva Antylamon doesn't have a card yet

I'm fairly certain he's in one episode in Tamers (if he's in more it's in a very, very minor role) and gets brutally murdered by Cyberdramon in a very brief amount of time in that one, so that's not that shocking.

Hm? I bet Devas will have each three Color cards to Holy Beasts.

To be honest, St-660 artwork is way better than this. But I stil like it anyways. To play this off to opponents to tease them!

As a card game player, all I’ll say is that cryspaledramon is probably still the best thing to have under an azulong stack.

Majiramon here seems alright. What really makes the card even worth considering at all is it's Inheritable Effect, since it's Source Removal effect is strictly worse then CrysPaledramon or ST-2 Zudomon. It's pretty obviously meant to go alongside Azulongmon so that both of it's effects are more likely to trigger. Unsuspending is a bit better on Azulongmon since it'll probably have a couple SA+1's by it's own effect, and attacking twice does have the capacity to close out a game compared to Security Attack+5 or whatever. Still prefer CrysPaledramon for that overall versatility, but Majira at least feels like a viable option for that general Lv5 role in Blue.

Again another one of those digimon with ugly official art but the art on the card makes him look majestic, love it, his appearance on tamers was also very unmemmorable.

I believe he also made appearance in rearise.

Loving the artwork, he shows a good amount of personality here with his smug expression while raining down arrows upon his foes.
