Let's Make Digimon Goods Together Project- Digimon Plushie Vote Results & Final Choice Vote

Step 3 of the Let's Make Digimon Goods Together Project was awhile ago, and we have the results.

The idea was to allow fans to suggest and vote on potential products to be made to be sold via Digmon Partners.



Step 3 was an additional step, to vote on preliminary choices for what life size Digimon plush to make, and we have the results!


Step 4 they call "Which Digimon do you want to come to you?" The votes have been tallied and it's time for the final vote on who will get a plushie...



First though...

Before the finalists are announced, something to tell you.

Guilmon got the most votes for Tamers. However, after a decent amount of time attempting to coordinate with various manufacturers to plan to make a life size plush of Guilmon, the conclusion was reached that we could not make a product that would please everyone.

We are sorry that we couldn't meet that request, but we wanted to tell you the result that Guilmon was the most wanted, along with the process up to now.

They previously mentioned that Digimon that were too large, or had issues, would be disqualified, or removed from the process later if needed, as has happened with Guilmon.

For Tamers, we've chosen the Digimon that got the most votes after Guilmon. We will make sure that all the Digimon currently on the list will have specifications that will please everyone no matter who is chosen!

From the 8 Digimon below, please choose the Digimon you "want to come to me!" and vote for it.

We've asked for opinions on each step, but this is the time for the final vote to decide which Digimon becomes a plushie!

Wait, how big is a Dorumon again? Couldn't Kota ride on him in Chronicles? If they disqualified Guilmon for Being too big, why keep the mostly large Dorumon? Defineltey Voting for Dorumon because I think he'd be a riot if he's big enough.

Was hoping for rarer picks than these. Nice to see Lalamon get recognition but I think her design is meh.

As others have said, Dorumon has been depicted as the largest Child of all. Far bigger than Guilmon or even Angoramon . . .

Taking one from each series was a great idea, got us some different options aside from the usual contenders. Thinking purely on good plushie potential, Gomamon is a GREAT choice.. We already have a ton of Patamon plushes, I hope it doesn't win. Impmon and Shoutmon are good choices, Offmon is cute but all the clothes might make it awkward...

Personally, I'm going with Chibimon. When they're IRL most of the time the 'mons are in their in-training form, so for a life size plush, in-training form makes the most sense.

Edit: Wait PATAMON is the choice from Frontier?? Seriously? Not freakin Kumamon or Neemon? not a lot of cute choices in Frontier but still Patamon isn't even unique to that series.. bleh.

Specifically it's the form Frontier's Seraphimon is reborn into during the last parts of Frontier, so that's why it's Patamon. Still a weird choice but it does have a subtle difference.

Well there's some interesting choices. Offmon is adorable. Maybe for a stuffed animal, a smaller Mon would be easiest.

They probably figure that since Dorumon has never been in an anime they can make his size anything and get away with it. Even though his body shape is identical to Guilmon’s and would look weak and spindly if it were too small.

Nah Renamon and Mushroomon are bigger I'm pretty sure. Also Gotsumon X. Dorumon is pretty small in ReArise, Cyber Sleuth etc

I wished it was Bokomon or Nee/Neamon for Frontier lol xD

Though not live size there are already a goma/imp/pata plushies
Shoutmon has figures
Lala and Demivee have keychains...etc

Hope the others get a chance to shine....Especially Offmon an Dorumon (i get a weird feeling it'll stand weird or look funny for some reason haha)
They can just sell Patamon's waist band when frontier pop up shops come xD
