Full series this time, 12 episodes.

Nyan Koi!

Generally mild, some ecchi.

Subbed on Hulu for free-http://www.hulu.com/nyan-koi

A harem anime with a cat theme? I'd make some sort of catnip joke, but that'd be to easy.

I saw this a number of years ago and was generally quite amused with it. The characters are interesting, the designs are clean and very good looking, and they integrate the cat theme into stuff quite well.

After a slow moving pseudo-drama last week with Shingu I thought a quicker paced comedy would be a good choice.

It's been a long time since I've watched this... but I remember them mocking the audience at the end with a promise of a season 2 which never came...

Really fun show that seems to not be as well known because while it's done very well, it doesn't really do anything new and perhaps takes the easy route. But fun is fun and it's very enjoayble.

Only 2 real Digimon connections I could find this time. The actress who plays Shinomiya in the last few Digimon games plays two of the main characters here and the actress who played Akari, Mervamon, and the Hero from Re:Digitize plays one of the other female leads (and people who only know her from playing Akari will be quite surprised when you first see her...)

I've watched this series and rewatched it once. Many of the characters behave quite comically which is a plus.

Part of the plot reminds me of the old Nickelodeon live series 100 Deeds for Eddie McDowd.

I finished the series back on Sunday, though I'm only now getting around to posting about it. I liked it, and found the characters funny. I got a number of real laughs out of it, particularly courtesy of Ichinose, and Nyamsus is better than Grumpy Cat. There were a couple of fleeting emotional moments as well in the latter half. Wonder if it'll get that second season they wondered about.

I legitimately hope for a second season.

I'm also pleased that it's original super basic sub only DVD set sold well enough that Sentai Filmworks not only went back and dubbed it, but actually gave it a Blu-ray release.

The colors are nice and vivid, so having that extra clarity helps even if it isn't a show bursting with detail.
