New card previews from the Digimon Card Game!

The Digimon Card Game Twitter has updated with a new card preview from Starter Decks 4, 5, and 6. This time it's Koushiro, Taichi, and Yamato.
We actually have seen these cards already, but they were pretty small, so it's nice to get a better look at them.

Starter Decks 4 Giga Green, 5 Mugen Black, and 6 Venom Violet are out November 27th

Then we get previews of some other items...

First up, we got decent looks at the 3 new promo cards of GranKuwagamon, BlackWarGreymon, and MetalGarurumon (Black) from Digimon Card Battle last week. The official site has put up a page which also shows off the promo pack itself.

You get a promo pack by buying any 2 starter decks beginning when 4, 5, and 6 are out. You get one promo pack which contains 2 cards, both cards will be the same promo card out of the available 3.

On top of that, we have (small) images of the second wave of general release sleeves for the card game. We found out about these a couple months ago, but no idea what they looked like as they had blank names. The new sleeves are:
Omegamon with MetalGarurumon and WarGreymon behind him.
Agumon lineart, based on the artwork of Agumon holding cards we saw just as the card game was coming out.
A collection of well known Baby 2 level Digimon.
Sleeves designed to look like the back of the cards themselves.

And last up...

Episode 54 of Fun Digica just went up earlier today.

This time Cody and Hideyoshi have yet another match using Booster Set 3 Union Impact.

A few screenshots.

Passable Tamer cards, playing to the strength of each Colour's niche.

Oh that's really nice. That basically gives any given Blocker two uses, and Black has some really strong Blockers.

oh I copy and pasted my translations from before I started using the terms "Suspend" and "Unsuspend" whoops.
But yes, all of these cards are great for stackable 2 drops. Just all around super good cards

Really looking forward to these Starter Decks tbh. Not every card needs to be absolutely game-changing since the most important part of a starter deck is being an affordable entry point to the game that covers the general mechanics of the game and the particular theme of the deck, but with how pretty much every one of the original Starter Decks still has cards that see regular play in their respective colors, I'm hoping we see some stuff stick here as well.

Helps that I feel like these Wave 2 Starter Decks are almost being treated as "expansions" to their respective colors rather then a basic introduction point to the game as a whole compared to the first wave. Like, yes, the decks seem to have everything they need, your Digitamas, your resident blockers, Tamers and Options, etc, but they severely cut down on the Option Card count here and added more Lv3s and Lv5s compared to the first wave. Plus there's stuff like these Starter Decks not having a Vanilla Lv6 like the first three, since that's a niche these colors already have covered by the core sets now, so they instead had the secondary Lv6 have an effect. By the same token, I doubt the Option Cards for these will have an equivalent to the "Spot-Removal" card found in the first three, and if they do, it'll be more akin to something like Final Elyisum in Red compared to Gaia Force then anything else.

In short, I actually really like this approach, since it still gives new players a starting point if they want to try out these three colors, but it also has the potential to get already established players of these colors excited due to giving them new alot of new toys to play with.
