The Digimon Card Game Twitter has updated with a card preview from Booster Set 11 Dimensional Phase. This time it's Jijimon.

This time we get to see a parallel card of Jijimon. It features some very high detailed art of Jijimon, with Angemon.

Though realtalk? We know Babamon is an aged Rosemon but I want to see what Jijimon looked like as a strapping young Ultimate Digimon.

Yes, but I wouldn't say it's meant as a direct evolution. Rather as support for the main characters of Digimon World 1 & Re-Digitize, so rather than evolving from Mamemon it's more like a Imperialdramon deck thing, where Veemon & Wormmon can shuffle between their forms for gameplay convenience.

The profile is the report of when the "researchers" discover Babamon at that time.
So I don't think Jijimon should have the Young Ultimate version of him.
Though I also love the idea that Jijimon can slide evolve to/from Gankoomon to travel around Digital World. Their personalities match.

If her profile said Panjya, then I guess she was a Panjyamon at one point. Panjyamon > Rosemon is weird but Digimon is Digimon. Leomon cards are green too so you can do it in the card game

I think it's the other way around. Just like other profiles as the discovery and reporting from the researchers. That's why some profiles have "expired" info. But then again, this is Digimon, they can always bring back the references to respect the history. This is also why a digimon's profile doesn't dictate everything from a to z for a digimon if that digimon appears in any media. Or, why digimon's personality sometimes doesn't match with the profile of its species.

The game was certainly released before the profile, and the fact that Rosemon being Babamon's true form was an actual plot point sure makes the profile look like it's the one doing the referencing.
The first time the profile was printed was in the Digimon Visual Dictionary which I believe was published around 2003, so years after the game released.

If her profile said Panjya, then I guess she was a Panjyamon at one point. Panjyamon > Rosemon is weird but Digimon is Digimon. Leomon cards are green too so you can do it in the card game

That would be a big jump of logic even if it was regular flavor text or a profile. But it really wasn't, it was the word PANJYA in romaji, in fact a password that could be used in the game to get the Panjyamon card. Jijimon's card in the same booster had the text "BURAKI", which was the password for the Brachimon card.
I don't think there much of a point to assume that Babamon evolved from Panjyamon or Jijimon from Brachimon because it's more likely just a general reference to the plot of Digital Card Battle. Babamon's character in digital card battle basically fills the same role as Jijimon in DW1 while Brachimon and Panjyamon are both story relevant NPCs in the game, holding two of the "7s" cards. Similarly there is a Babamon card in Booster 8 which has a password for HerakleKabuterimon (for Digital Card Arena this time) and there's plenty of other cards as well such as a Pucchiemon card that has a password for VenomVamdemon.

Which are irrelevant as long as we don't have them. Even then this does not discount the possibility that both species were possibly designed for the game, putting the profile once again into a secondary role.

I really like this card. Not only because Jijimon looks majestic in this alongside Angemon, it's also the "After" version of Jijimon and his house in BT5-043 illustrated by Yuuki. The card in BT5 is the "Before".

She still has the same necklace. Babamon was clearly created to be the old lady version of Rosemon when her profile came doesn't matter when that was the entire point.
