Bandai has announced the first Digimon Figuarts, which will be Imperialdramon Fighter Mode.

The figure will cost 6,804 yen, and appears to be exclusive to Bandai's webshop.

The figure will ship in July.

Prior discussion about it can be found here.

Update- Bluefin Tamashii Nations USA has confirmed this figure will be released in the USA, so it's probably worth waiting for the American release to be announced. Thanks to Sabr for noticing that.

Really digging the ability to create the appearance of all three of his anime attacks: "Positron Laser", "Giga Death", and "Ion Blaster".

Beautiful.

That blue helmet in a figure look better than the anime version where I unable to explain why.

When he shoots the huge laser beam from the lens that pops out of his chest. He uses it against Armagemon in Diablomon's Revenge.

Rumble Arena 2 dubbed it "Ionic Blaster" as his Ultra attack.

Let me guess.
Laser cannon on its left arm.
Claw-like princers on its cannon in the chest opened up
Kind of blocky cannon with a handle for two hands to trigger.

Three different attacks with three types of cannons, right?

Which means they'll sprout like wildfire on eBay fairly soon. There is already one there.

Not my favorite digimon, nor my favorite form of this particular digimon; but unless I'm mistaken it's going to be a series of figures so they're will be more. Plus a U.S. release is always good news.

I hope they make some detailed figures for some of the more classical digimon. Kuwagamon, Kabuterimon and the original Greymon would be things I'd display on my desk. I'd be all for an Angemon and Devimon figure too. Something with NECA equivalent detail.

Awesome. US release. I'm sure some figure buyer people on twitter will buy and take many pictures of.

It's still going to be on BBTS and American retailers I think.

Sorry for the double post but I have a major question. On the preorder site there's a picture of what appears to be an art print or something that may be included in this release, but does anyone know if it will be included in Bluefin or what it actually is in the first place?

Anyone seen these yet? I'd be so hyped right now if I hadn't just bought the garage kit one.
