Re: Ikuto's Dub Name and a few other small things

Why is it that all the new dub names have no more than two syllables? Not to mention that, with anime becoming much more mainstream, it doesn't seem necessary for all these changes. Digimon Adventure had less drastic name changes back when most people didn't know the difference between anime and other animation on TV.

Re: Ikuto's Dub Name and a few other small things

I've sat in on recording, the flaps open move alot faster because of pronunciation. Shortning the name gives them more to same to say it and actually act instead of just having to 'pump it out.

And coming a company that isn't Saban (nor Sensation Animation) to Saban is pointless.

It's a new show, the fact that it is 'Digimon' is probably inconsequential to the way the show is being done outside of some voice actors playing 'old' characters and Nimoy directing.

The people and studio doing this dub are behind some of the best dubs of the last 5 years if not ever, so I'm waiting and watching to see what comes out of it.
