Hopmon & Monodramon Previews for Booster Set EX-02

The Digimon Card Game Twitter has updated with card previews from Booster Set EX-02 Digital Hazard. This time it's Hopmon and Monodramon.

For Hopmon we get some cute art of him and Ketomon hanging around some familiar scenery. For Monodramon we get him beating up some Goburimon who are likely causing problems.

Welp, this immediately shot down my predicted list which featured this line as Blue, but I did also suspect it could end up being Black. This leaves a lot of unaccounted for Blue cards, which suggests to me that MarineAngemon (and therefore Lopmon, Guardromon, Leomon, Cyberdramon) might be having their gaps filled in with non-anime stages. Or else a Blue Leomon line. Let's revise.

I think most people would agree with Blue, Black, and Purple for MarineAngemon, Guardromon, and Impmon respectively, so that only leaves room for Leomon in Black, Purple, or White... unless Lopmon is Purple or even White, and Leomon slides into Yellow? ugh too many possibilities)

Again, Blast Mode and Crimson Mode could easily be the two secret rares, but I'm leaving them where they are for now because otherwise I'm at even more of a loss for this set's Blue line given the space Crimson Mode would open up. That said, if Blast/Crimson aren't the secret rares, I could easily see it being ChaosDukemon and Sakyamon Miko Mode. Just a thought.

White Leomon feels really weird but I cannot for the life of me figure out another way to fit him in, include a full Blue line, and not have either him or MarineAngemon be the one partner not given a full line (instead that goes to Lopmon, which feels a tiny bit more justifiable, maybe?). There's really so many wildcards, though. Even assuming I'm on the right track, all it takes is a single Dobermon or Labramon appearance to completely throw it all out of whack again.

Did just notice that there's presently room for a total of 9 Tamer cards. Granted it could end up being less, but that would give us the entire main Tamer cast, which does reinforce my current expectation that each of our main Digimon will be given a mostly complete line.

Not according to the Vital Bracelet line that was a part of a Tamers group, it isn't.
