I bought a used D-2 English device today and after putting in batteries it will randomly reset after a time. I opened it up and cleaned parts of the board that looked like it had a bit of corrosion and now I cant get it to power on. All I get now is a tiny cheep when I put the batteries in. Does anyone know what I should try or know where I can find a picture of a opened one so I can see if anything looks wrong? Thank you.

Maybe check the buttons. Especially the reset one. Also check the areas you cleaned. Make sure you didn't like rub away a connection or something. If you want to get really into it you can use something called a multi meter that checks electric connections and see if there are any areas on the board that aren't connected properly. I have no electronic experience myself but I've seen some people repair electronics on youtube and those are the things they do for things like game boy cartridges. Make sure the speaker wires are still attached and stuff like that.
