Greymon & MetalGreymon Previews for Booster Set 2

New card previews from the Digimon Card Game!

The Digimon Card Game Twitter has updated with more card previews from Booster Set 2 Ultimate Power. This time it's Greymon and MetalGreymon!

Both of these are black cards, which isn't a surprise with the black card Taichi got, and a purple MetalGarurumon showing up recently to match the purple card Yamato got. Both cards feature really high quality artwork that feels very anime in style, but with an interesting level of detail giving it a look that, maybe isn't unique, but is really high quality. Both characters are doing their signature attacks, with MetalGreymon in particular showing a good sense of scale in the art on his card.




Digimon Card Game Booster Set 2 Ultimate Power is scheduled to release on July 22nd. The biggest preview we've gotten so far of cards from that set was the recent 4 page spread from V-Jump.

This new card game is awesome. Not only option cards got Digimon attacks but the backgrounds are fun to spot at easter eggs/references.

Indeed, if only they would make a mobile game with this new card game like "Pokémon TCG Online" or "Yugioh Duel Links" I would totally play it.

I think it'll happen eventually. They already tested the waters and the virtual versions of physical TCGs seem to have been very successful

Welcome! And agreed that the West gets a release. It'd be interesting to see them create an online version of this at some point.

Dude.! those effect in one LV 6 black digimon will be very dangerous.! i love it

I can see a Machinedramon/Mugendramon with those cards in him as evolution sources.!
