Greymon & MetalGreymon Preview for Booster Set 12

The Digimon Card Game Twitter has updated with card previews from Booster Set 12 Across Time. This time it's Greymon & MetalGreymon.

After the Agumon family cards earlier, we have more! After standing high up, Agumonm has jumped down and evolved to Greymon, then we shortly after see him evolved to MetalGreymon. The theme 'path' cards are always fun to see when they use the same scenery.

Now I get the reference for Agumon and these two. It's actually the same with WarGreymon, Pocket Digimon World.

I had the same hopes. But at the same time, KaiserGreymon never appeared in Hunters so I guess we're just getting full lines for everyone.

This does kinda adds to my fear this set will have no previously-seen in the anime digimon to add to the DRB. Oh well, there is still hope with the Alternate Being EX set.

I hope Agumon Burst Mode will get card and DRB because he appeared in the crossover.

Metalgreymon looks a bit awkward, specifically looking at the tail for this - it's probably meant to be twisting through the sky but it looks more to me like its tail is curled partly underneath it, like it was just flying backwards.

it is a pretty interesting setting to imagine: walking through a factory silently trying to make sure the Greymons and MetalGreymons inhabiting it don't notice you. It really speaks to their monstrous side.

I hope MetalGreymon specifying "level 4" will allow it to exclude the "(other than [DoruGreymon],[BurningGreymon], or [DexDoruGreymon])" line

They would still need it for Burning Greymon, as the card game put him at that level.

So the reason these cards are worded this way is to allow for MetalGreymon to evolve from any Greymon or Greymon X (or even GeoGreymon), whereas WarGreymon wants to be able to evolve from MetalGreymon, Alterous Mode, either MetalGreymon X, etc.

The Level clause on MetalGreymon is just to cover all the bases, as the card game already features level manipulation in some form on both sides of the field.

Interesting that this support is basically adding Marsmon abilities to Blackwargreymon.
