Goddramon Preview for Booster Set EX-03

The Digimon Card Game Twitter has updated with card previews from Booster Set EX-03 Dragon's Roar. This time it's Goddramon.

We already saw it earlier from an early V-Jump preview, but Goddramon gets art of him releasing the dragons from his arm guards, Amon of the Red Flame and Umon of the Blue Thunder, who control destruction and regeneration (respectively.)

I love the focus on Amon and Umon.
It's nice that he brings back other Four Great Dragon cards from the trash

[When Attacking] 1 of your opponent's digimon gets -6000 DP for the turn. Then, by returning 1 [Holydramon], 1 [Azulongmon], and 1 [Megidramon] from your trash to the bottom of your deck, trash the top 2 cards of your opponent's security stack.

This card in particular asks for a lot for fancy Sec Attack +2 but the deck overall could probably just fit in yet another yellow hybrid shell since it looks like it wants to be base yellow and none of the dragons played off of their main option can attack. Excited to see how it ends up developing.

This Gossan art is awesome. Love their razor-sharp outlines and bright colors. It's like if Koki was pointy.

Excited to see how it ends up developing.

I believe they can attack when played by trial, they cant digivolve.

Yeah, I just realized that. Technically you can get around the deletion drawback by evolving them into x-antibody forms since those arent level 7s.
Maybe holydramon will get an option that gives them rush.

As they are the same instance of Digimon after digivolving the effect will persist and they will still be deleted at end of the opponent's turn, but here's hoping they some workaround so we can actually use them to punch before they go bye bye.

Ignoring Security Effects is a pretty notable deal, I think.

It's powerful, but cards like BT2 Dukemon and EX2 Crimson Mode have access to that effect for so much less investment, and it's an effect that seems much more aggressively oriented than a combo requiring 3 specific pieces in trash and one specific piece on board able to attack.

It's also going to be dependent on what relevant security effects/security digimon you want to dodge. A multiattacking guy with jamming or the 1 cost option A Delicate Plan pulls a similar stunt more easily.

Much looking better in bright quality. Damn Goddramon always looks the best as if it's almost like Goddramon X.
