Goddramon Preview for Booster Set 14

The Digimon Card Game Twitter has updated with card previews from Booster Set 14 Blast Ace. This time it's Goddramon.

Goddramon gets some very highly detailed art with the perspective pointed up at him. It appears to be charging up God Fist with the dragon spirits in both arms, along with charging God Flame, it's ultimate attack.

I guess a red/yellow Goldramon can be tied to the Megadramon revealed earlier and the MagnaAngemon which is also in the set.

Haven't paid the best attention to the card game, but were tokens a thing before now? Would be neat if they could do like Yu-gi-oh! and release actual token cards for Amon and Umon.

I remember years ago when Diaboromon came out, I was hoping that token generation would be a mechanic specific to black that we would see more of over time. Black was also weak compared to the other colors when it first debuted so it seemed like a mechanic that could help the color out. I guess token generation will be a rare mechanic shared by all colors which I'm cool with, I just wish it didn't disappear for almost three years

Interesting to see we are finally getting more token generators, didnt expect to see it on Goddramon. Guess I shouldnt have been suprised though since Amon and Umon are probably never getting their own digimon cards.

Wow I'm really surprised at how they gave Token effects to Goddramon's Amon and Umon. So it really imply they will give Token effects to certain digimons who have "familiars". Oh boy it is getting so interesting.

Also I like this art! It makes Goddramon look so titantic just like Adventure 2020!

Incidentally, what other Digimon could have potential "familiars"? I guess there's the other attack-based Digimon, those being Kiwimon's ChibiKiwimon, HagurumonX's KoHagurumon, Octmon's Fujitsumon, and Dokugumon's Kodokugumon (Baby), IIRC. You also have things like Vamdemon's bats, various organic missiles, Splashmon's Drippins, and Olegmon's Jormungandr and Surtr.

After I posted that last comment, I realized it probably will never happen. Yeah...

Maybe it's extremely rare to give Token effects to some certain ones. Unless if they often prove their decks focused on certain ones to support so many times so much enough to make the digimon staff notice this.

There's a version with Japanese text but I believe it was only ever physically released in English.
