Giromon & Tankmon Previews for Booster Set 3

New card previews from the Digimon Card Game!

The Digimon Card Game Twitter has updated with more card previews from Booster Set 3 Union Impact. This time it's Giromon and Tankmon.

Giromon is in the midst of using his chainsaw to cause some damage, and he's also just thrown his special move, deadly bomb. Some nice detailing on this one.

Tankmon is a nice piece of art, as he's being drawn a bit more realistic than he often is, giving an interesting look, along with the various visual effects on the card (various bullet and debret, it also looks like based on the dirt effects that he's just driven in and spun into place.)



Digimon Card Game Booster Set 3 Union Impact is scheduled to release on October 30th.

Oh hey, it's two 'mons I often forget exist.

Not really much to say about them either since Tankmon is a vanilla and Giromon only has a simple DP boost
Inheritable Skill (though only during your opponents turn sadly).

Hard to believe Giromon causing huge damages even it is Vaccine! lol but it's really DW1 reference for more actually.

Damn I cannot believe what I am seeing on this Tankmon in that artwork but it freaking got three "Mamemon" faces on that missile pods! They actually focused on the tiniest details to notice!

Not really much to say about them either since Tankmon is a vanilla and Giromon only has a simple DP boost

He's a high-cost Entry, low-cost Evo. Is that notable? The only equivalent I can recall is DarkTyranomon in Red.
There's a risk reward element, kinda like with the 1-cost Evo Rookies with high DP.

I don't know which of this high tier artworks I like more. I'm leaning more towards Tankmon but Giromon would gain points if I knew what it's destroying.

I don't know why you guys think that every Digimon inclusion has an evolution line in mind within the same booster, I really don't think Giromon or Craniummon are here only because the other is. Although, as an evolution line, the two do make sense to be related

@VanChizzle it's not, they're just referring to the baby sized Pefect level Digimon each of the original 5 Digital Monster V-pets had (Mamemon, Metal Mamemon, Giromon, Pixiemon, Datamon). They have no lore relation, just fit the same ongoing theme

Mame means bean/pea in Japanese and Mamemon, MetalMamemon, Giromon, Piccolomon, Nanomon are the very first 5 "mame" digimon.

That's why e105zeta said non Mamemon Mamemon lol
