Gigimon Preview for Booster Set 5

The Digimon Card Game Twitter has updated with a card preview from Booster Set 5 Battle of Omega. This time we get Gigimon.

Gigimon gets art of him alongside Jyarimon, and Gigimon appears to be evil and plotting. And behind him, a bit faded, perhaps views of things to come?



Digimon Card Game Booster Set 5 Battle of Omega is scheduled to release on February 26th.

So it was purple Gigimon in the end. The cameo of the whole line is a nice addition. What's unexpected is that they used regular Growmon (and I assume that Megalo Growmon is also intended to be the red one), referring to the Megidramon line shown in the anime rather than the actual line used for the set.

No, it's BlackGrowmon. You can tell because the tip of the tail is red instead of black. Presumably, that's also BlackMegaloGrowmon.

Anyways, pretty good effect. Definitely feels appropriate for an evil version of the Guilmon line.

Oh right, I saw that red tail and I immediately thought about Growmon, but clearly it's not.

It's a baby, in my experience they all do that.

Gigimon actually look very evil you can feel it in its eyes. Reading the whole posts made me to check around carefully on its whole background. I only see the tails of Growmon and BlackGrowmon, (Unsure of which MegaloGrowmon or BlackMegaloGrowmon due to it's totally shadow) and Megidramon.

At first, I had trouble reading this profile and didn't get it about it a single thing but until I was told by certain topic involves ReArise about ChaosDukemon/Megidramon here in WTW forum, I decided to check there.

Now I realized, maybe it's some kind of "prism" to all eyes on its digicore/existence/body witnessed upon. I thought it must be some kind of wicked magic of Medieval era.
