Ghost Game- New Key Art & Key Phrase

Time for Ghost Game to get a few traditional anime updates! (1) (2) (3)

First up, we have new key art, featuring the kids, plus the Digimon in their perfect level. There is also a new 'key phrase' or theme for the anime going forward, which is "The Mystery Accelerates."

A quick translation of the overall details...

The new visual shows Canoweissmon, Lamortmon, & Thetismon as they've evolved into their perfect forms.
Hiro, Ruli, & Kiyoshiro have their expressions changed from the surprised expressions they had in the previous main visual, when they saw mysterious prescenes staring at them, to a new tough expression as they confront the continually bizarre things coming at them. It has evolves!
A new theme, The Mystery Accelerates, is also announced. It suggests that the various incidents that have happened to Hiro and Gammamon in the future will become even more powerful. With the first appearance of Lamortmon in the future, and the release of the visual of his perfect form, you can't take your eyes off the work!

Exciting. I wonder what this will mean for the future episodes, however.

Is this signaling a change in tone and premise (ex: horror to a more straightforward adventure series), is it hinting at a more serialized-storytelling? I know this is what the general fandom seems to ask for in the discussion threads, but I personally hope they try to keep the horror elements and the self-contained episodes. It's possible to do so while still pushing the story forward.

I think they mean a narrative theme, not a musical one.

Because in digimon 2020 we only saw, in some chapters, being in the human world, and not a complete arc.

I hope they go to the digital world, although I have doubts.

So far, all the previous series have Digital World arc if the story starts in Real World.
In general, all Digimon series (including manga) have Digital World journey. If Ghost Game doesn't, it will be the first not to.

Also, when they said "...the various incidents that have happened to Hiro and Gammamon in the future will become even more powerful." why is it only Hiro and Gammamon? I don't really want to make any assumptions since Ghost Game is pretty much impossible to predict, but I hope this means that the main mystery surrounding Gammamon is going to get more spotlight moving on.

As much as I would love that, I'm not sure they have enough narrative potential if they really want go more plot driven from now, though I would say it can easily reach 70ish episodes.

Well, considering how every episode is just a random enemy appears and we defeat him (most of the time just make friend of him) they could make 900 episodes easily, just changing the monster of the week.

Well Hacker's Memory has you not going to it, and in Cyber Sleuth you only go to the DW for ten minutes. Survive is stated to not take place in the DW but instead a different World.
