Nope, people thought the DarkKnightmon episode was going to be a Fumamon one and the reason it’s not going to be is the same as it was then: Fumamon was already added to the Encyclopedia a month ago which basically confirmed that it was not going to be Ghost Game as new Digimon that are going to debut in the anime do not get to the Encyclopedia until after the debut episode airs.

It’s why we’re only just now getting the Level VI Digimon and why HoverEspimon and subsequent stages of GulusGammamon are MIA right now. Plus the producers already said that certain Digimon from Gammamon’s BE card are not going to be in Ghost Game.

Have in mind that they are referring to the mummy as an object, maybe its just my interpretation but by calling it an object i can see it being small, like marineangemon. I hope im wrong.
