After Digimon Ghost Game episode 54 aired, Digimon Web put up the profile art of Octomon (and Fujitsumon technically), who featured in the new episode. The attached message:

To celebrate Dreamers V1 coming out, Digimon Web showed off the volume.

Also from Dreamers, Tenya Yabuno showed off the cover page of the newest chapter.
He also made a number of tweets regarding the volume 1 release.

He also mused on how to shorten the name, as he hadn't considered it before. The musings started with Dejidori as the 'normal' one, then he wondered a twist, like Mondori or Demodori, then he laughed as he kept thinking of ones, finishing with no no.

With the Gammamon BEMemory out, Digimon Web posted the full lineup, with Adventure mode no longer silhouetted.



Then...

Kayo Horaguchi, the artist from the floral parallel card game stuff, posted regarding the art being used on a new Digimon Ichiban Kuji lottery item set in China.

They showed off acrylic art plates, glasses, and acrylic coasters using their art.

Still Fujitsumon is there on Octmon's official profile/image at least.

If it's about just Fujitsumon, obviously it'll be boring image having just a mere barnacle with no badass stance or background.

Yeah while Sukamon and Chuumon have a symbiotic relationship, neither strictly require the other to survive whereas Fujitsumon are basically sessile without and are thus completely dependent on a host organism to live hence why the first two have distinct DRB profiles from each other while the Fujitsumon doesn't have nearly enough info for its own.

Very expected really. Fujitsumon is already part of Octmon's profile.

It's like Miasma. They don't need profile because what in Entmon's profile is enough. What interests me actually the form of Fujitsumon itself. All this time, I think its shape is something different and the two yellow dots / the eyes in Octomon's body are them hiding inside the hole and the hole is made by them. The episode tells us that the "hole" is part of its body. So all this time, Octomon doesn't have a hole for a Fujitsumon and Fujitsumon's body/form is just... a cookie.

I wonder if this was their original plan for Fujitsumon years ago or it's something they come up with recently.

Yeah it's really weird Octmon's pot didn't have any scar hole spaces for Fujitsumon. Seeing Fujitsumon being leeched with random creature to develop slowly turn into Octmon led me to believe Fujitsumon lives on the pot but drilled the holes to Octmon to detect the dangers but but... it's just all whole barnacles. No holes? How did Fujitsumon caused Octmon mutation transformation this way?! But I wish detecting the danger is not Ghost Game thing and it needs to be official ability for Fujitsumon just to make Octmon look really good instead of being viewed usually as weaker digimon.

The detecting danger thing is also official lore straight from the Encyclopedia:

Many Fujitsumon, which are a small type of shellfish Digimon, attach themselves to the pot that Octomon wears on its head. These Fujitsumon have highly developed senses, and it’s believed that they are part of a symbiotic relationship with Octomon, warning it when they sense danger.

The only thing Ghost Game added was them being telepathic which honestly makes sense if they can’t physically plug into Octomon's brain.

That does make sense. It's barely a Digimon but it fits. Should be interesting to see this episode and how something like that works.

Oh how interesting real life barnacles simply glues on the surface...

Ah yes I did read that mini info but before that Ghost Game episode revealed its ability, I simply assumed they sensed danger was simply just like 6th sense which all animals sensed the danger approaching and they flee which humans cannot sense until I'm surprised this Ghost Game episode revealed it turned out it wasn't "Sixth Sense something animals have" and it was freaking Future Sight that able to peek into the near future! Which is why I need this Future Sight to be added rather than "Sixth Sense".
But thanks for the source, I never remember which info it came from.

I have to imagine that Digicores are fairly powerful in terms of their processing ability to render a Digimon's physical form given how computationally taxing certain Digimon like Whamon and Examon are canonically supposed to be.

Not to mention that two thirds of an octopus’s brain is in their arms given them the same number of neurons as a dog.

We have an Angoramon Ghost Game BE Memory announced for January, and supposedly a Jellymon one announced for March. So assuming the anime will not end before those, it should be at least till then.

I have to imagine that Digicores are fairly powerful in terms of their processing ability to render a Digimon's physical form given how computationally taxing certain Digimon like Whamon and Examon are canonically supposed to be.

Not to mention that two thirds of an octopus’s brain is in their arms given them the same number of neurons as a dog.

Yeah the octopus experiments showed it's extremely smart and can do many things as mimicking and can do the puzzles and hell, opening and locking itself in the jar lid...

But the problem thing is, there is zero information on how the digicore is capable of. Even if we already knew about it, I still find it hard to trust because Digimon is... Extremely vague when it comes to Digicore, X Antibody effect, some name origins didn't match to certain digimon or mismatched and other many things...

I hope they stay true to Fujitsumon's "Future Sight" in Ghost Game shown us instead of lousy "Sixth Sense of animals". I found this to be more powerful.
