Profile: A Beast digimon born from the same astronomical data as Coronamon, but from observations made during a period of high sunspot activity. Tachemon's body is of a lower temperature than Coronamon's and his flames do not burn as brightly. His personality is also "cooler" like these flames, and he has a tendency to be shifty and uncooperative. His special techniques are "Blotch Flame", a burst of blue flame concentrated on his forehead that causes disruption to magnetic fields, and "Black Prominence", wherein Tachemon surrounds himself in pitch black fire and tackles the opponent.
Name Origin: French. "Tache" means "blotch", and when used as part of the phrase "tache solaire", it refers to a sunspot.
Profile: A Demon Beast digimon who resembles a blue Firamon. His appearance coincides with violent solar activity and magnetic storms, making his presence dangerous to digital technology. Though his flames are not as hot as Firamon's, they have the ability to cause disruption to the data of other digimon. Erupcimon's power also grows during the occurance of solar flares, and in these instances, he has the rare potential to create flames hotter than Firamon's. His special technique is "Dark Eruption", a powerful solar flare that creates an intense magnetic field. Furthermore, he can slash with flaming claws ("Erupt Claw") or fire disruptive blasts of fire from his forehead. "Erupt Bomb."
Name Origin: Spanish. Erupción means "eruption."
Eclipsemon Perfect / Virus / Demon Beast Man Type / Nightmare Soldiers, Demon/Dark, Beast
Attacks: Dark Beast King Wave, Dance of the Black Sun, Disruption Roar
Profile: A Demon Beast Man who first appeared during a Solar Eclipse. His appearance resembles a dark blue Flaremon, but their natures are literally like night and day. Eclipsemon spurns the daylight and is only active during the night or during other solar eclipses. Eclipsemon seeks power, and wishes to cover the world in eternal night. Rumor has it that this is an ambition he shares with a certain Undead digimon. Eclipsemon's strength is greatest during an eclipse, and when drawing upon its power, he can perform the "Dance of the Black Sun", a vicious technique that calls upon dark light copies of himself to attack in conjunction. He can also perform "Disruption Roar", a magnetic blast created by roaring that can cause irreperable harm to the data of any digimon struck head-on by it, and "Dark Beast King Wave", where he creates a terrible black fire that will not burn out until it consumes Eclipsemon's target.
Attacks: Spicy Chili Fries, Big Gulp Drink, Delicious Patty Deluxe
Profile: A Composite "Deluxe Meal-Form" Food-type digimon created by a DigiXros between Jagamon, Citramon, TorikaraBallmon, and the Adult Burgermon. A digimon of refined taste and flavor, it can even bring out the deliciousness of fast food. Its special technique is "Spicy Chili Fries", where it launches delicious french fries from its arm like missiles. Combomon can also create a "Big Gulp Drink", a flood of juice that pours from an infinite supply, and throw out "Delicious Patty Deluxe", a combined chicken and beef burger that no opponent can resist stopping to eat.
Attacks: Silver Bullet, High Noon, Desperado Gunner
Profile: The evolved form of Revolmon, who underwent extensive modification in conjunction with its activities as a member of the "Virus Busters." His just and courageous heart is as strong as ever, and his strong and agile form grants him the ability to fight at a higher level than ever before. Two rifles are mounted on his back, allowing him to fire off continuous rounds of suppression fire ("Desperado Gunner"). For sharpshooting, he uses his twin pistols, which fire bullets of silver that fly through the air looking like brilliant arrows ("Silver Bullet"). Finally, his finishing move is "High Noon", a continuous blast of cannon fire from the massive gun that comprises his chest.
Profile: A second form of Ridermon resembling a horseback rider. In converting to this form, Ridermon's shoulder rifles become like forelegs, and his chest cannon serves as the "head" of the "horse's" body. In this form, Ridermon has sacrificed offensive power for speed, and he relies primarily on his sharpshooter pistols for attacking. However, by getting close to the enemy, he can beat them relentlessly with his forelegs, while also releasing explosive gunfire with every strike ("Burst Gallop").
Attacks: Knight Soul (Knight Damashi), Royal Rocker
Profile: The "Armored knight" form created by a Digi Xros between Knightmon and Shoutmon. It's strength is at an intermediate level between Shoutmon and Shoutmon X4, but is still quite strong on its own. Shoutmon's form has changed somewhat into one with armor-like skin, with Knightmon's Chron Digizoid armor integrated directly into his helm and arms. Shoutmon's Mac-Field mike has transformed into the "Royal Berserker", a sword that can create shockwaves with a single impact ("Royal Rocker"). When overcome by the chivalrous instincts afforded by Knightmon, Shoutmon's hot blooded determination rises up as well, and he releases a massive burning seal similar to a coat-of-arms ("Knight Soul").
Basically, his attack fires the Xros Heart symbol at you, and it's on fire.
Profile: A newly discovered digimon from the Urd Terminal, where many ancient and Dinosaur-type species of Digimon can be found. Its data is remarkably primitive, leading researchers to believe that it was a formerly extinct digimon who was recreated during the construction of the Urd Terminal. It has traits that are similar to the more highly evolved Monochromon and Triceramon, which lead some to theorize that it is connected to them in some way. Despite its small size, Microceramon is a territorial digimon, and will often try to fend off invaders even if they are much larger than it is. It uses its hard frill as a shield, and attacks with the pointed horn on its nose (“Small Hornâ€), or by biting with its razor sharp beak (“Cutter Beakâ€). When it absolutely cannot defeat an opponent, however, Microceramon will opt to flee, running away on its two strong hind legs.
Name Origin: English/Greek. Microceratus, a type of primitive ceratopsian dinosaur.
Profile: An Armor-type digimon who evolved with the Digimental of Courage. Pachymon is an aggressive digimon who is constantly looking for excuses to brawl with others. If it sees a strong opponent, he will not hesitate to charge and strike them with its thick skull. However, his hot blooded nature leads to him making poor decisions, and though it is strong, there are some kinds of armor his head cannot crack. Nevertheless, Pachymon is a digimon who will not hesitate to “smash down all barriers†- a statement that also serves as its motto. His special attacks are “Bullet Headâ€, where his armored dome ignites with fire just before slamming into an opponent, and “Magnum Headâ€, whereupon Pachymon grabs the enemy in its arms and repeatedly slams its head against theirs.
Name Origin: English/Greek. Pachycephalosaurus, a type of dinosaur known for its particularly thick skull.
Styracomon Adult - Armor / Data / Cyborg Digimon / Metal Empire / Dragon, Machine/Mutant
Attacks: Spark Horn, Thunder Clash
Profile: An Armor-type digimon who evolved with the Digimental of Friendship. Thought to be a sub-species of Monochromon, his body has been reinforced with cybernetic components, making his armor even more impressive and durable. His form also functions like a living electrical generator, which can generate even more power when Styracomon gets more and more worked up. The multiple horns on his head function like lightning rods as well, allowing him to gather electrical energy and increase his power even further. In a way, Styracomon is like a living electrical power plant. Styracomon attacks by channeling electricity through the horn on his nose and firing it (“Spark Hornâ€), or by electrifying the metallic portions of his body and slamming into the opponent (“Thunder Clashâ€).
Name Origin: English/Greek. Styracosaurus, a type of ceratopsian dinosaur.
Teryxmon Adult - Armor / Data / Ancient Bird Digimon / Wind Guardians / Bird, Dragon
Attacks: Sky Slicer, Wing Claw
Profile: An Armor-type digimon who evolved with the Digimental of Love. Teryxmon's form resembles an intermediate form between Bird-like digimon and Dinosaur-like digimon, and its data is thought to be connected to databases cataloging the evolution of extinct species. So, while it is a bird, it does not boast the same aerial agility or flight ability that most Bird Type digimon are known for. However, it is more than capable of moving about quickly on the ground, and it can glide effectively in place of possessing true flight. Teryxmon has a rambunctious and wild personality, and is known for picking fights with much larger digimon. Many are surprised by its apparent ferocity. Teryxmon's signature attack is “Sky Slicerâ€, where it slashes foes with the sharp feathers of its wings while gliding, while his “Wing Claw†throws blades from the claws on those same wings.
Name Origin: English/Greek. Archaeopteryx, a primitive bird.
Profile: A digimon who evolved with the Digimental of Purity and took the form of a yamabushi, or mountain dwelling warrior monk. Shugenmon lives in mountain regions, where it quietly seeks enlightenment through communing with nature. As a result, Shugenmon has insights to a great many of the mysteries of the digital world, and is capable of passing them on to those who come to learn from him. He carries a “Jinkaiâ€, or trumpet conch, which he uses in casting charms and sutras meant to ward off wickedness. In other instances, he uses the techniques associated with Aiki Bu Jutsu, a type of martial arts that Shugenmon uses in order to attain inner peace – thus, when using this on an enemy, Shugenmon is observed to have absolute serenity even during fierce battles. His form is similar to images of tengu, and he wears a wooden mask at all times.
Name Origin: Japanese. Shugendo is a sect of Buddhism practiced by the yamabushi.
Adult - Armor / Data / Ancient Insect Digimon / Jungle Troopers / Insect/Plant
Attacks: Spectrum Ray, Paralyze Bite
Profile: An Armor-type digimon who evolved with the Digimental of Knowledge. An Ancient Insect digimon that resembles a dragonfly, but whose data is unrelated to species like Yanmamon. Neuromon's nature is even more ferocious, and will even prey upon other adult digimon. However, this does not mean that Neuromon is unintelligent – rather, it has a kind of wicked tenacity that allows it to hunt down less intelligent digimon with ease. Furthermore, with its special compound eyes, Neuromon can see multiple spectra, and even track its victims by “observing†their body heat. Neuromon's special technique is “Spectrum Rayâ€, a multicolored beam of energy fired from its compound eyes that is fired with pin point accuracy, and Paralyze Bite, a fierce snapping of its mandibles that gradually cause a victim's body to stop moving.

Adult - Armor / Data / Sea Animal Digimon / Deep Savers / Aquatic
Attacks: Blade Diver, Wave Sonic
Profile: An Armor-type digimon who evolved with the Digimental of Reliability. Though a primitive species, Icthyomon possesses high agility in the water, as well as keen acrobatic abilities and a knowledge of tactics. Its shape is similar to that of Rukamon, but researchers have identified it as being closer to reptile digimon, meaning Icthyomon is an example of two different digimon developing similar traits independently. Icthyomon's body is shaped in a way that lets it cut through the water like a knife, a trait it exploits when using the blade at the end of its pointy jaws in ramming attacks (“Blade Diverâ€). Its signature technique is “Wave Sonicâ€, whereupon Icthyomon creates a sonic pulse that creates torrential waves with its vibration.
Name Origin: English/Greek. Icthyosaurus, a kind of prehistoric sea reptile.
Profile: An Armor-type digimon who evolved with the Digimental of Hope. Monoceromon resembles Unimon, but is a much larger beast resembling a war horse. Monoceromon has a wild temperament, and will harshly judge anyone who tries to tame it. Those who try to ride it without earning its trust are ruthlessly thrown off and beaten with his large, heavy hooves. Only when someone who proves themselves worthy and seeks to give Monoceromon a battle worthy of it does it become tame, serving its master faithfully. Its powerful muscles give it the ability to charge through enemy lines without even flinching (“Grand Gallopâ€), and it can use the horn on its head for fencing (“Horn Lancerâ€).
Name Origin: The constellation Monoceros, the Unicorn.
Profile: An Armor-type digimon who evolved with the Digimental of Light. Wyvernmon is a white Mythical Dragon digimon who is considered a servant of royalty, and whose visage is born on heraldic symbols throughout the Digital World. However, its nature is duplicitous, as Wyvernmon can be both generous and noble as well as greedy and deceitful. While it is highly intelligent and will fight alongside Knight-like digimon or Virus Busters, Wyvernmon is known to hoard treasure and steal items that have struck its fancy. Though willing to risk injury in battle, if it comes down to saving himself or others, Wyvernmon will always choose to save itself instead. His special attacks are “Serpent Thornâ€, where he lashes out with his barbed tail, and “Wrym Blazeâ€, an attack that involves spewing golden fire from his mouth.
Name Origin: Wyvern, a kind of dragon-like creature in European mythology.
Profile: An Armor-type digimon who evolved with the Digimental of Kindness. Pssittacomon is an odd digimon whose appearance is a hybrid between a Dinosaur and a bird's; a parrot, to be specific. Nevertheless, he is a highly intelligent digimon, who is capable of understanding and speaking in any language. Though he has a small amount of feathers, he cannot fly, and usually tends to run on its two strong legs. Pssittacomon can be kind of cowardly, though it will often try to heckle stronger digimon when it mistakenly believes itself to be safe, creating problems for himself and others. Pssittacomon's special attacks are “Beak Crackerâ€, a crushing bite with its parrot-like beak, and “Crazy Crestâ€, a whipping attack using the feather brush on its tail.
Name Origin: English/Greek. Pssittacosaurus, a relative of ceratopsian dinosaurs whose name means “parrot lizard.â€
Adult - Armor / Data / Cyborg Digimon / Metal Empire, Virus Busters / Machine/Mutant, Dragon
Attacks: Golden Aegis, Break Horn
Profile: A Cyborg digimon who evolved using the Digimental of Miracles, who resembles Triceramon and is covered in Gold Digizoid armor. Its most distinctive trait is its massive head shield, which serves as a wide shield in battle. Thus, Chasmomon is an excellent digimon to have on the front lines during a battle, as it can singlehandedly protect an entire infantry with this shield. Furthermore, the “Tzimtzum†jewels embedded in this shield can extend this protection even further, creating an energy barrier that cannot be broken save by the absolute strongest of attacks (“Golden Aegisâ€). It is believed that Chasmomon's purpose is to assist Rhinomon in battle, granting divine protection while Rhinomon delivers savage offense. His special technique is “Broken Hornâ€, an attack where he uses the “Tzimtzum†to extend the length of his horn with an energy blade and then attacks with it.
Name Origin: English/Greek. Chasmosaurus, a kind of ceratopsian dinosaur.
Profile: A Dinosaur-type digimon believed to be long extinct, but was recently rediscovered in an as-of-yet unexplored part of the Ancient Dino Region. Brontomon is characterized by its large size and long neck and tail, which afford it great reach in and out of battle. Because it has a gentle, laid-back personality, Brontomon is unfortunately often the target of more aggressive Dinosaur digimon, such as Tyranomon and Allomon. However, when cornered, Brontomon is capable of showing great battle prowess, using its large size and strength to defend itself from attack. Brontomon's primary attack is Bronto Burst, in which its head and long neck become like a rail cannon, firing off a powerful stream of energy. It can also swing its enormous tail about like a whip ("Giant Tail").
Name Origin: English and Greek. Brontosaurus, a now defunct synonym for Apatosaurus.
