Gazimon Preview for Booster Set 8

The Digimon Card Game Twitter has updated with a card preview from Booster Set 8 New Hero. This time it's Gazimon.

Gazimon gets some fun art in a painted style, of him riding on the snout of a DarkTyranomon.


A nice followup to various Pulsemon family card previews we just got.

huh red for Gazimon. Just because of DarkTyranomon? lol but I like this art. It's cool Gazimon got to ride on DarkTyranomon. If only he needs to wear sunglasses to make it cooler!

Nice art, though this is the 4th of this same 3000/2/0 stat line in red, oddly enough. Kind of wish it provided Tyrannomon support.

Red Gazimon is weird but I should stop thinking about color associations

not a surprise Gazi is paired with DarkTyranno in a couple cards. Gazi was its original rookie on the vpets

You know if they do a Booster set of new X-Antibody cards they should make Gazimon X > DarkTyrannomon X, but of course they could still use Black Agumon X since there's no Blue Greymon X.

DT’s design is a tad boring. I wish it had Gazimon ears or something both to link them together design-wise and give it more of an identity

No Greymon X (Virus) YET, anyway, there's nothing stopping them from making one. Whenever they do more X focused stuff they might end up making a few for the card game since the lines tend to have holes and gaps due to how they came up with the last group being weighted at the top end.

Yeah, I also want to see a complete Renamon X line in the cards and other complete X lines for Dracomon X, Terriermon X, and Keramon X.

Unlike the old TCG they've got a massive backlog first and they've done a fair few obscure Digimon, give it time.

Maybe they never release new digimons but to have certain digimons returning on this 2020 card game?
Like Blikmon in background and KingWhamon...

I have a bad feeling about 2020 card game is really strong on not releasing new ones but to repeat the same digimons just with new different color cards...

The original Agumon, not counting any of its many, many variants, had at least twelve versions in the old card game.

Popular Digimon will always be favored over unpopular ones. That is simply the way of the world.
