Gaogamon & MachGaogamon Previews for Booster Set 11

The Digimon Card Game Twitter has updated with card previews from Booster Set 11 Dimensional Phase. This time it's Gaogamon & MachGaogamon.

Gaogamon & MachGaogamon both feature Nicolai and scenery from Re:Digitize to further make the cards unique, and have a nice cartoony style to them.

it's still focused on your opponent having a shit tonne of cards. Gaogamon can bounce lv3 Digimon back to your opponents hand though, which is annoying for me actually cuz that'd bounce all the Sistermon Blancs.

Mach can unsuspend if your opponent gains a card by an effect

Also maybe they can give us Mirage Burst

Nice. They emphasize the specific species by putting their Tamers in the cards.

Nah more of BlackGaogamon's evo line, will we have BlackMirageGaogamon if Imperialdramon Fighter Mode (Black) made a huge comeback with epic design?!

And it's really cool to see Reigitize partners with evo lines having cards with their human partners! Totally buy for sure.

Glad they have the tamers on the cards for this set. I'm not too familiar with Re: Digitize's cast outside of the ones that jumped games like Mirei, but it's cool to see this type of interaction in the Digimon card artwork as that's not been used much at all.

Uhm, there never was a black MirageGaogamon. It just doesn't exist. Not sure if the card game would autonomously just make one up.

The original gaogamon line was bad, but the seed of an idea was there. Bounce guys to keep your opponent's hand count high with your payoff being a cheap MirageGaogamon, but that game plan was uhhh garbage. At least these cards have some more synergy by punishing your opponent for drawing extra cards and by letting you get some more up-front benefit for bouncing their guys.

I do not know how good this could possibly be allowed to be given that "gain memory and extra attacks for bouncing your opponent's stuff" would be insufferable if it was even reasonably effective at a high enough saturation rate in the metagame.

Ok, judging by the card effects on these guys they chnaged it from being bad to possibly being broken. The idea of gaining advantage based on your opponent having a big hand is there, but now instead of just making them draw its more removal focused.

Until today I still want to believe there's a monstrous version in the Ultimate form of MirageGaogamon, a counterpart to Megidramon. Maybe a Cerberus-like digimon or something else.

There is a more bestial, extremely powerful Ultimate opposite Miragegaogamon, at least.

...but it's Z'dgarurumon.
