Gabumon X, Garurumon X, & WereGarurumon X Previews for Booster Set EX-05

The Digimon Card Game Twitter (2) has updated with card previews from Booster Set EX-05 Animal Colosseum. This time it's Gabumon X, Garurumon X, & WereGarurumon X.

Gabumon X gets a really nice action pose on a snowy mountain, although it feels like the main art and background don't quite feel natural together. Garurumon X & WereGarurumon X both get some very cartoony artwork, coming across as very anime plus in style, a look we don't always get for X-Antibody Digimon. Garurumon X is shown on a snowy cliff, while WereGarurumon X appears to be mid battle, and what look slike some big slash marks are behind him.appears

Finally all revealed on Gabumon X's evo line. Oh boy I think Gabumon X is way cooler than Agumon X. Seriously like caveman-like Gabumon design is too awesome.

Takase drew Garurumon X and WereGarurumon X somewhat a bit cuter... I didn't expect that but I'm fine with that...

Those are some really strong card effects i can't lie Gabumon tribal is way stronger than Greymon tribal with these. To think that Gabumon will be getting even more support in BT15 Melga about to dominate the meta like in BT9.

Good to see Purple Gabumon finally become a thing because the recent Starter Deck wasn't enough. Now it's red/black Agumon with it's big DP and big protection versus blue/purple Gabumon with a focus of fast tempo and recycling trash.

This card is way too overpowered. Literally 0 cost and you come out better for it. Gain 1 memory, draw 3, trash 2 which purple wants, and can carry over protection. How a card like this gets to live instead of being insta banned is ridic this isn't the card design they should be doing there is no balance to Garurumon X at all. You just evolve to it and gain a million things. Promo WereGarurumon is nothing compared to this

Hey, it's the Perfect that got used in Digimon World X/4 for..... some reason.

I don't think the scenery on these cards are anything worth writing home about, but it's always nice to see more details of the X Digimon in general (crazy how even the X-Antibody variants of franchise faces like the Greymon and Garurumon family haven't gotten much artwork to speak of over the years).

In contrast to the original line of Greymon Xs which I'm mostly meh on, I've always liked the Garurumon Xs - well, though I like Agumon X a lot more than Gabumon X. But this is some great Garurumon X art, no matter what you have to say.

(also we still don't have named attacks using Weregarurumon X's back parts but we have two from Saggitarius Mode which took them lol)
