The Digimon Card Game Twitter has updated with card previews from Booster Set 5 Battle of Omega. This time it's Gabumon and Garurumon.

Gabumon and Garurumon both get a nice 'anime plus' style treatment here for their art, giving an appearance that feels very animeish, but with a bit more detailing and depth.


Digimon Card Game Booster Set 5 Battle of Omega is scheduled to release on February 26th.

US Boosters 1.0 and 1.5 will contain all the cards from Japanese boosters 1, 2, and 3, featuring their original numbering.


Special Booster 1.5 will be out in February.

As was to be expected, the Gabumon-line basically serves an identical role as the Agumon one if you're going with a Blue Omegamon deck.

Though for some reason Garurumon only gives a +1000 boost instead of a +2000 one like Greymon for some reason. I wonder if that means WereGarurumon will have a stronger effect than MetalGreymon to balance it out?

Actually I didn't realize it immediately too, when I saw that 1000 I had to "investigate" because it was weird.
