I dont see relationship between any of them with pandora, if they keep the greek mythology theme they have many feminine characters related to the ocean, like scylla or Amphitrite. But its digimon so she could turn into pandoramon or anything else.
I should’ve been clearer, I just meant a prominent Greek mythology character like Pandora, and I chose her as the example because the idea of the (blames) originator of evil sounds like a good fit for Jellymon’s personality.

Not to start an "evolutionary lines" conversation, but it surprises me so much how good those two work as perfect forms of regulumon and parallelmon, both exclusive digimon from v-tamer.
Regulumon is a berserk mode lion, evolving from a berserk mode rabbit that is already related with other leomons in his dim card.
And Parallelmon being an eye themed alien dude with arms that looks like tentacles. Even the color schemes fit, regulumon skin is almost the same colour as angoramon line face, and both have some green details, while parallelmon pink and purple match pretty well with Tethysmon.
Was tenya yabuno involved with angoramon/jellymon/gammamon designs? or he just designed the kids?

All 3 digimons perfects look ugly as sin (maybe there official art will make them look better), what happened to the digimon designers?

Not gonna comment on the other 2 before we get Bandai art, but Canoweissmon looks cool as hell, so I don't know what you're talking about

I'm assuming Lamormon's name is based on "Lagamorph", which is taxonomic order of rabbits.

Tethysmon is named after a greek titan.

Design-wise, they both seem like dark evolutions, which is a bit odd.

I would guess that Jellymon's Ultimate will be called Medusamon, since "medusa" is also a stage in a jellyfishes life

Before Tethysmon was revealed, Scyllamon was a prediction I had for the line. But Medusamon makes so much sense I’ll be surprised now if they don’t do that.

Medusa feels like something that'd be more fitting for a villainous character not a protagonist

They’ve done sinister mythological figures as protagonist Digimon before. Vritramon comes to mind. And a Medusa-based Digimon would suit Jellymon’s anime personality, which you couldn’t really describe as being “good.” Medusa’s backstory (divine victim-blaming) can put her in a sympathetic light, too.

I see a lot of people talking about the look of the Perfect level saying they look like dark evolution, wait for the artworks to get a feel .... Also how shocking it would be if these were edgy evolutions. , it would change a bit to have evolution with a dark side.

Otherwise, Wikimon has not yet created the page for Lamormon and I don't know why .... (While Tethysmon's page has been created)

As a biology-teacher with some knowledge of Greco-Roman mythologies, I think the people coming up with 'Medusamon' as the Ultimate-stage for Jellymon are just making too much sense.

I sign up for that name, as well.

People thinking these are dark evolutions is really funny to me. It feels like if Tentomon's line came out today, people would be saying Kuwagamon was the correct evo and Kabuterimon was the evil one.

Anyone have any idea what Angoramon’s names mean? Symbare sounds like it could either be a music or martial arts reference.

“Symbare” is a bizarre way to transliterate the kana, which actually reads “Jinbaa.” People have suggested a combination of “symphony” and “ballet,” but that would be “Shinbare,” not “Jinbaa.” The katakana, romanized Jimber, was used in Kamen Rider, where it referred to clothing based on the samurai surcoats called jinbaori, but the Digimon does not appear to be wearing one. The katakana for the Perfect form matches the French “La Mort” (Death), which was previously the name of a Yugioh monster. It may be based on lagomorph, as someone else suggested. Not sure what the Japanese pronunciation would be for that.

If Tentomon was made today, I doubt Kabuterimon would resemble its current design all that much. Digimon's aesthetics have changed somewhat since the 90s. We don't really get the more monstrous designs all that much anymore, especially for Digimon meant for a new anime (look at Stingmon. It looks completely different despite also being a bug.) It's not too out there people are shocked.

It’s actually super refreshing that none of the three Perfects appear to be cyborgs given that “stick some guns and metal on an Adult = Perfect level” is an institution at this point.

I think the new perfects look great. It's refreshing that Lamormon looks to have retained its "purity" as a beast, rather than becoming a cyborg, a knight, an angel, or something like that. I hope that somehow holds for its ultimate stage as well.

Edit: looks like e105zeta beat me to expressing this sentiment. Sorry to copy you, I should have refreshed before posting.

Only applies for the google boys' partners....

Any digimon with furs at Perfect levels belonging to non-google boy tamers will end up looking WereGaruru-like and given different jobs like WereGarurumon = Street Brawler, MachGaogamon = Champion Boxer, and Taomon = Shaolin Warrior Monk, etc not sure about Rapidmon...

Thirdly for female tamers but this Jellymon belonging to the male coward so I find it hard to predict but she didn't end up fully sea Lilymon however this similar pattern for visors or face covering like Silphymon, Angewomon, Fairymon and others. I suspect her final form will be face covering or fully revealing face. Obviously Jellymon's Perfect form appearance may matches to Sistermon Awakened ones more or less.

Elecmon? GrapLeomon or Aegiochusmon?

Gotta admit MachGaogamon and Rapidmon are a bit unique. Rapidmon Armor's type is Holy Knight before Tamers. So it led me baffled on Rapidmon Perfect's type saying Cyborg for just wearing armor.

MachGaogamon's feet and hands are cyborg parts alright but 100% Beast Man no matter how I look at him. Thanks for reminding me... although I will forget anyways.
