Frimon & Duftmon X Previews for Booster Set EX-05

The Digimon Card Game Twitter (2) has updated with card previews from Booster Set EX-05 Animal Colosseum. This time it's Frimon & Duftmon X.

Frimon features it playing with what looks to be a rubber band or string ball, along with various other baby Digimon, some of whom are relaxing with another Frimon. Duftmon X is in a pose that appears to be a bit of a take on his profile shot. And a bit above him, from a direction he isn't looking is BlackWarGreymon X, also drawn in a bit of a take on his profile art, about to ruin Duftmon's day a bit it appears...

Beast tribal gets another interesting top end. I personally wouldn't run more than two of this because you really only want to use it to facilitate another lvl 5 on board that can potentially go into Leopard Mode. That would take a whole lot of memory so unless you got some spare mem boost or training cards on the board it might not be worth going for imo.

Leopard Mode is still the star of the deck but you could make some daring plays with card with the right setup.

Dont know what you guys are assuming with these... I dont think this LeopardmonX card has anything to do with Leomon in this set. Frimon effects is for Leomon family, Leopardmon has nothing to do with it.
Have you missed there is a black/green Elecmon in the set too? There could be a LeomonX wit those colors and will make sense, it was present in animal colosseum pendulum too as was Grapleomon who once again would make sense as black/green, and not because of my username but I think this could lead into a Heavyleomon card that yet again fit so well in Black/Green colors, Heavyleomon also was present in the recent beast dim card sharing roster with Apollomon and Dianamon lines wich are present in this set too.
Since that dim card was about beasts and this dcg expansion is about animal/beasts... yeah, im pretty confident that this is probably where the frimon/leomon stuff is leading into.

Seems like a pretty round-about way of saying "You can evolve it from Leopard Mode, too." Also a bit funny that they need to specify exclusion of the X-Antibody, even though the only Digimon including both that and the name Duftmon is literally just Duftmon X-Antibody itself (have there been any instances in the Digimon Card Game, so far, where a Digimon was able to evolve from another card of the same species?). Or maybe they're accounting for the introduction of future Duftmon variants (or a Leopard Mode X).

There are several Digimon that can evolve from their own Level and Color (e.g. Ginkakumon Promote, Sistermon Blanc/Noir/Ciel [Awakened], Rafflesimon, Shoutmon DX, WereGarurumon Sagittarius Mode [BT5 card], MetalGreymon Alterous Mode [BT5 card], etc.).

There are also cards that are treated as the same name as the Digimon they evolve from, especially Xroses (e.g. MusoKnightmon, Shoutmon DX [BT11], SkullKnightmon Big Axe/Cavalier Mode, WereGarurumon Sagittarius Mode [Promo card], MetalGreymon Alterous Mode [Promo card], etc.).

Several of the Omegamon forms can also evolve from themselves because they only specify Digimon with [Omegamon] in their names (e.g. X-Antibody [BT5 version], Alter-B, and Merciful Mode).

Gaioumon is a relatively unique case. The EX4 Gaioumon card can't evolve into itself, but it can evolve into the BT9 Gaioumon card.
