And the model kit news keeps coming!

Included with various non-Digimon figure/model news (2), Figure-rise Standard Amplified Imperialdramon Paladin Mode, from Digimon Adventure 02: Diablomon Strikes Back, has been announced!


It will be a Premium Bandai exclusive, and use the Imperialdramon kit as a base. It will include new parts for the wings of Paladin Mode, plus the Omega Blade.

I was trying to see if the feather to membrane aesthetic had been done before for Imperialdramon PM and I found an instance in this social media art.
I really love that look and I hope it sticks around in this digimon's design

At this point I'm not even surprised lol. I'm assuming it can still transform since all those parts should be the same, but I do love me Paladin Mode, so I'll roll with it.

It's on all three Imperialdramon forms. They all have a dense "feathery" inner half and the sparser "bat-like" outer half on their wings. It just doesn't look as feather-like in the color red, and a lot of the artists depict it more as "raggedy" than "feathery".
