We have details of the next Digimon model kit! It's a Figure-Rise Standard Amplified kit of Alphamon

As we've seen before, there is no active listing for it on Digimon Web, but if you enter the url for products at Digimon Web without a specific product id, it kicks you to the page for it. It's likely the most recent entry and is shoved into a default entry.

Some product details...

The Alphamon design has been 'amplified' by As'Maria for this new model kit, which is roughly 7.7 inches tall.

Careful planning of where parts are split allow minimal lines showing from the kit.

The boosters and cloak on the back have multi-axis movement for posing of them.

Various connection holes allow you to customize the kit with parts or accessories from other kids.

It includes Holy Sword Gradalpha, plus parts for Digitalize of Soul, one of his signature attacks.

The kit will be released in September 2022 and costs 4,950 yen. A link on the page goes to a currently inactive Bandai Hobby listing.

Really nice looking kits, and fans of Amplified will be happy to see that line continuing along as more of the Standard kits are also made.

How they incorporated the raggedness of Alphamon's cape is interesting, but frankly weird.

I imagine this is that figure they were going to announce? Pretty neat, Alphamon's had some time to shine lately. I think the Digitalization of Soul part is my favorite bit lol. I gotta get some more shelf space...

would be even cooler if they could incorporate the actual digimon that comes out of the attack (like in the TCG) but that'd take up too much space :p

They just use the same cape frame, they did redesign the pattern and added holes.

Other than speculations on the joints, I am also waiting to see if they ever decide to do the ouryuken set.

They should do Figure-rise Standard Amplified model kits of WarGreymon X and MetalGarurumon X.

Both FRSA Alphamon and Dukemon look great. I just don't feel the same to FRSA Omegamon. Maybe because it's just the Omegamon Reboot with few redesigns. It looks somewhat bland for an FRSA figure. FRSA Omegamon could have looked better with this (Alphamon and Dukemon) level of redesign.

Anyway, unlike FRS, we can say FRSA line is a digimon exclusive line until now. So far, it has released all digimon figures except one, Batmon.. I mean, Batman.

Damn, I was really hoping this was Sakuyamon or Megagalgomon. I really hope we get more Tamers model kits.

Where does one be able to pick this up in a timely fashion and not at scalping prices?

Hey you never know, if we ever get a Dorugoramon model that people modify and paint to look like it, the card art might be recreated by someone out there lol.
