English Card Game Starter Deck 17 Advanced Deck Double Typhoon on March 8th, 2024

We have the first information for Digimon Card Game Starter Deck 17.

This is very early, but it's from English solicitation info.



The 17th starter deck is Advanced Deck Double Typhoon and will be released on March 8th, 2024 for regions that use the English version of the Card Game. There is no Japanese release info at the moment, but in the last quarter of 2023 is expected.

This is the second advanced starter deck, and is themed after Terriermon and Lopmon.

The deck includes:
a 54 card pre-constructed deck (likely made out of a selection of 16 possible cards)
10 extra cards
60 sleeves
2 memory gauges
an unspecified bonus pack

Never gonna happen but creating a new form for megagargomon would be nice otherwise these will have 0 new Digimon (to the card game) in them unless they include terriermon x, lopmon X, cherubimon x, and rapidmon gold x

It’s finally happening! They’re finally doing a starter deck based on the second most popular Child Digimon in the franchise after 3 Agumon decks.

(People have been wanting a Saint Galgomon/Cherubimon jogress since GraceNovamon too but I doubt we’ll ever get one)

We could still get a couple of unused Digimon. ST9 gave us Kokabuterimon and Snimon, ST10 gave us Witchmon and Junomon, ST12 gave us Solarmon, and ST14 gave us Phascomon and Porcupamon.

Interesting to say the least. I expect this deck to give a boost similar to what happened with the beelzemon archetype. It's needed since EX4 bunny alliance is kind of mid from my experience. Since x antibody forms of quite a few of the lopmon/terriermon family already exist getting those in the card game would boost the decks toolkit immensely.

They're covering the stuff coming out first: the Limited Card Set, the Illustration Competition Pack and the new Card Case Set.

Yeah but why even start ex-5 reveals if theyre then gonna fob it off for weeks after, just start ex-5 reveals when youre ready to show them all i was hyped to see the rest of ex-5 hopign we wouldve seen sunmon and moonmon by now

Because they had that Bandai card game showcase stream that had news for all upcoming sets.

Yep the EX5 reveals haven't truly started yet in the traditional sense we know of. It reminds me of when BT14 Tyrannomon got leaked way before the other cards of that set started leaking regularly.
