Early V-Jump Previews for Card Game Booster Set 15 Exceed Apocalypse- Adventure Ace & Option Cards

We have early card previews from the next issue of V-Jump, with a look at various anime related cards from Booster Set 15.

We start off with WereGarurumon Ace, Garudamon Ace, & Vamdemon Ace. The only art we had gotten a preview before was WereGarurumon, who is on the pack art.

WereGarurmon gets some nice actiony art, alongside Gabumon, by Kenji Watanabe. Garudamon feels like a dramatic shot, almost like you'd get at the end of an anime episode with some nice fire detailing. Vamdemon gets a menacing night shot with a lot of bats.


Then we get to look at the accompanying option cards featuring anime screenshots from Digimon Adventure:

I see Garudamon is going back to it's roots heh. That's pretty exciting i like the red vaccine bird stuff so getting a relevant sora, two option cards and a new lvl6 for the archetype is much appreciated for the tool kit. Oh and Myotismon looks to finally be coming together as a deck that option card didn't even cross my mind and it looks powerful. I was wondering how they were gonna do an Overflow drawback on something that wants to die and being able to throw out a lvl6 monster seems like a fair trade.

The only issue is that I'm not sure if it will synergize properly with the already existant Malo Myotismon floating cards or the retaliation myotismon cards. Maybe they will find a way to combine all 3 into 1 archetype somehow.

I'm wondering if bandai will restrain themselves and only release 2 total original adventure sets, considering this set name implies apocalymon will be in it. Assuming apocalymon is one secret rare, I wonder what the other will be? Possibly MetalGarrurumon? Also, kinda funny we never got Abbadomon,negamon, and Milleniumon's evolutions while they were still on Adventure: 2020.

Metalgarurumon will definitely be a Secret rare, to mirror Wargreymon being a Secret last set.

It would be better if the new option just read "card with myotismon in name" so it would be able to gel together both boss monster of the Myotismon archetype. Right now Yukio and Barrier of Fog wants to do different things so it's a little disjointed.

I was entertaining the idea we would get one more of these Adventure/Seeker themed sets because Leon and Tartarus are two Mind Link tamers they still gotta do. I mean we could always get them somewhere else but idk.
