Dynasty of the Evil Dim Card Lineup Image

With only a few weeks left until the Dim Card Holster is released, we get a full lineup image for 'Dynasty of the Evil', the Dim Card included with the holster.

This includes the full lineup, no single one left as a mystery this time. The Digimon that have a star next to them appeared on a Dim Card GP.

This DIM looks insanely cool. The sprite art on Pumkinmon, NoblePumpmon and Phantomon? Mwah! Such an aesthetically marvellous DIM. Glad to see Jokermon here, always wish he'd get officially paired with Piedmon. Kind of wish they'd had made a brand new sprite for Saberdramon, it doesn't fit with the rest of the digimon.

Cyberdramon (fusion) is kind of odd. Not sure how much I like him. NeoVamdemon however is rad. Neo Vandemon Darkness mode 2 has always been one of my favourite designs, and a personal favourite for a Gigadramon evolution.

Finally, I love it these are my favorite lines in this Dim.

Ghostmon > Bakemon > Pumpkinmon > Noblepumpkinmon
Ghostmon > Devimon > Myotismon > Neomyotismon

To be fair even without new Digimon, this Dim card wasn't exactly going to be lacking in options to begin with. Hell the Pendulum Z for Nightmare Soldiers only debuted Ghostmon, DoneDevimon and Argomon Level I - IV and and only Level I was actually labeled as 'new' within the Argomon line due to II, III and IV appearing in the anime.

It is the dim card of my favorite digimon, but I can't say I'm satisfied, I mean for Wizarmon they just reused impmon line although there was other choices like mistymon or wisemon, if it was just impmon intead of ghostmon it wouldn't make a difference, and there's no new digimons, even tho there is room for a new dark vaccine digimon.
I'm also bummed that they didn't use that opportunity to work Ghostmon line, I mean there is bakemon, pumpmon and that kind of stuff but I wanted a more mage like line, as the main digimon of this line was Wizarmon I was expecting something like that.

My boy NoblePumpkinmon is there, that’s good enough for me (although I mostly ordered it for the slick holder). NeoMyotismon is an excellent choice as well.

Huh, Im kinda of shocked Dobermon didn't make the cut to be honest. Also, is this the first time a non themed dim card completely lacked an attribute for a stage? I really thought that they would take the opportunity to make more "evil" vancine or data types...

Yeah, in retrospect its kinda odd that the other DiMs did introduce new Digimon when there was so many too choose from already. I guess I was just expecting some new ones as it seemed to be the trend.

To be fair, they specifically marked (with stars) the Wizarmon>Baalmon>Beelzebumon line as a returning appearance from the GP series, so the DIM is partially-themed.

But yeah, the roster heavily leans towards Viruses, understandably. The Vaccine part of the roster is kinda lackluster with miscellaneous Digimon like Saberdramon and Cyberdramon (Xros Wars) of all things. (Noble)Pumpmon is carrying the Data portion of the roster.

I didn't expect Baalmon and Beelzebumon and I think their slots can be replaced with other digimon who hasn't got their VB debut.

I anticipated most of them but Saberdramon, Cyberdramon 2010, Jokermon, and Neomyotismon surprised me.

I wonder if Ghostmon will appear in Ghost Game anime since it never appeared in Adventure 2020.

While there are no new Digimon, the inclusion of Cybedramon 2010, Jokermon, and NeoVamdemon, who have never actually been used in any normal video game or vpet, more than makes up for it.

That is not what I meant at all by lackluster.

Saberdramon is just a recolor of the Birdramon sprite from Volcanic Beat, and lacks coherency with the rest of the roster.

The latter part is completely subjective. At face value, Xros Wars' Cyberdramon has nothing to do with Nightmare Soldiers, demons, a demon realm, etc.. It's basically the predatory behavior of the original Cyberdramon, but given an extraterrestrial hunter-twist like the Predator.
On a lesser note, it also lacks coherency with the others, except name-wise with the aforementioned Saberdramon.

Was surprised with Saberdramon and Cyberdramon (XW) on the roster. Was expecting Anubismon on the line-up, but given the title of the DIM, it kinda makes sense.

A little boring, but there's still decent enough variety I think. Only weird part is no Vaccine Mega they could've easily slotted something in there even if it was just shoved Anubismon in there. Also, feels like it could've just been an extended Impmon DIM.

I don't think fusion Beelzemon has an attribute yet - and since it plays the role of a protagonist vaccine wouldn't be far fetched
