the shading and lighting are so realistic that it can almost fool me into thinking this was a real photo of highly detailed figures. I love it! Gallantmon's arm always looks weird when he's got his shield out, though

Digimon World 3 was one of my favorite games. Love the reference to the intro.

I would like to point out that we get a real good view of the back of the shield where it's clear as day that he isn't 'holding' the shield, but that the hand, indeed, becomes it.

I like how this card can have different background and the reference can change from World 3 to other media because the rivalry between these two is so common.

I do find it a bit odd that the background screams "Digimon World 3 reference", yet Dukemon's fighting vanilla Beelzebumon, rather than Blast Mode.

That's just how DCG adapted some of the references so far. The references don't have to be 100% true to the source. They are adaptations. Sometimes it's a loose adaptation, sometimes it's a faithful one.

The parallels in this set are excellent. The glow-up from standard on this particular card is so stark.

also the fact that the DW3 opening has some alterations to Beelze. namely that he has green eyes in both forms and uses the dual guns as BM for half the fight before switching one to the big gun.
if anything, this card art has more accuracy to a fight with Beelze than that opening :p

also, to add to it not being Blast Mode, I feel like normal Beelzemon and normal Crusadermon should be a fair fight meanwhile Blast Mode should be on more of a similar level as Crimson Mode

Given this is the TCG, that kinda checks out

Whoa this is the best artwork of Dukemon from DW3's opening! It's becoming harder to collect as long as it's alternative artwork cards... My money... If only I can farm the money like Digimeats....

I wish. It's really hard to search for certain shops to buy. They go sold out faster than before. Ugh. Or better if the boxes increase 2 to 4 for alternative arts. Sigh

Let me get this card for luck chance if I buy it...

To be fair, Blast Mode didn't seem to get treated as Crimson Mode's equivalent around the time both of them debuted. It was treated more like Beelzebumon's "true" form (likely stemming from the fact that early designs did have Beelzebumon with wings before they relegated it to a Mode Change), but still comes off seeming like just another average Ultimate (whereas Dukemon Crimson Mode was portrayed being able to tussle with the likes of Omegamon). In fact, it was Beelzebumon's only form to appear in quite a few pieces of video game media (some of which don't even refer to it as "Blast Mode" specifically), such as Battle Evolution, Brave Tamer, and World 3. Really, it never felt like Blast Mode was this all-powerful Super Ultimate so much as regular Beelzebumon just felt like an incomplete form, and until the Seven Demon Lords made the original red-eyed biker more relevent a couple years later, it seemed to be living in the shadow of its winged variant.
