Shorter wait than expected!

When the Vital Bracelet came out,t here were 2 special 'trial' Dim cards.

Black Roar wasn't hard to get, but Shadow Howl was, and they've both begun to sell for skyrocketing prices from scalpers.

Luckily, Bandai quickly announced they would do 'non' trial versions of them with full lineups.

First up...

Mad Black Roar!

This upgraded version of Black Roar includes a full evolution set including a number of popular Digimon included but not limited to: Greymon (both normal and virus), MetalGreymon Alteros Mode, VictorGreymon, BlackWarGreymon, Gaioumon, Omegamon Zwart.


Next up...

True Shadow Howl!

This upgraded version of Shadow Howl also has a full evolution set, including but not limited to: JaegerDorulumon, Pandamon, WereGarurumon Sagittarius Mode, Mercurymon, and Z'dGarurumon.

Pre-orders are open at Premium Bandai for a pretty good price of 1,760 yen for a set of both Dims. Pre-orders close May 31st and they ship in September.

Very good price for both, which should make it much easier to get these than the previous limited trial versions. Nice to see them getting out there relatively quickly also.

The lineups are both amazing though, Rhinomon is the only one that seems very out of place

Man, these rosters look so nice. Making me reconsider my position on not buying any DIMs between the Blizzard Fang set and the Medarot DIM lol. Like, Alterous Mode? I can’t resist that, even if I already have Black Roar lol.

Would be better if they created a new evolution for drimogemon instead of use rhinomon, well, at least rhinomon is being used and as a perfect, wich makes him justice.
Still pissed about jaggerdorulumon being perfect, look how overdesigned he is, i would hate evolving him into any of those cuadrupedal machine wolves.

Wow that's unexpected, they reused Greymon and Garurumon to Digivolved to there Alteros & Sagittarius modes and Black Gabumon > Dorulumon > JagerDorulumon > Merukimon, that's the most creative
line I ever seen.

Well I'v seen fan made evolution lines of Dorulumon To Merukimon before.

Wow. Never expected both VictoryGreymon and Z'dGarurumon would appear here.
I thought they would appear in Agumon (2006)'s and Gaomon's Dim cards.

I like how they use Mercurymon as Gaiomon's counterpart. But that means we won't get an Ultimate form of Dorulumon anytime soon.

To be fair, Beast type Adult level Digimon to a beast man Digimon is a well established Digivolution transition: Garurumon > WereGarurumon, Kyubimon/Youkomon > Taomon/Doumon, Gaogamon > MachGaogamon and Runnermon > Boutmon for a non-canid example so most people likely expected Dorulumon > YaegerDorulumon to follow this just as Gatomon and Digimon similar to her like Mikemon, Opossumon and Meicoomon are expected to Digivolve into feminine humanoids such as Angewomon, LadyDevimon, Bastemon, Cho-Hakkaimon and Meicrackmon.

I'm slightly annoyed they used regular Greymon and Garurumon tbh. Could've been a good time to create mode changes for the black versions of black MGmon and black WGmon. Oh well. Some interesting choices and some weird choices otherwise. Cerberusmon feels of place without any of his Megas. Nice to see Dorulumon though he gains his first rookie. Shame he doesn't have a mega to call his own.

Not gonna lie, I really appreciate how the evolution lines here make sense and are thematically connected.

The original Agumon & Gabumon ones are currently my least favourite of Dim Cards, because they are obviously just referencing Digimon, which appeared in the latest anime without rhyme or reason.

yeah i thought about that also. I do wish it was with specifically stated digimon though. I kinda hate when it says (random example making up on the spot); cyberdramon jogressed with any virus or free type to get pinochimon. It just leaves it to open in my opinion. But dont get me wrong it is better than nothing and ill take it
