New V-Pet!



After an early tease a month ago, plus Chronicle X updates, it's time to pre-order the Digimon X3!

The Digimon X3 will be the finale of the run of Digimon X V-Pets that began awhile ago. The Digimon X series has been the first 'all new' V-Pets that have come out in a very long time, and hopefully the success of them from beginning to end means we can expect more new V-Pets to continue.


First up, the colors...




The X-Antibody Digimon run continues with these new V-Pets with a focus on the Royal Knights! This new V-Pet will come in red and purple. Both use the 20th Anniversary shell (like the prior X releases) with new colors and an 'X' graffiti slash on it. Yellow has black as a secondary color with a silver x, while blue has white as a secondary color with a gold slash. In addition, the plastic of the main body for both is a glossy candy-style color that slightly transparent.


On to the V-Pet details!



Various new good Digimon appear with X-Antibody forms!

Yellow has Gankoomon X, Justinmon X, Terriermon X, and Rapidmon X.
Blue has Examon X, RiseGreymon X, Monzaemon X, and Wizarmon X.

We also have the credited designers for the new Digimon they are showing off art of:

The lineup this time has a bunch of interesting choices, including a few cameos of Digimon from mobile games and elswhere.




Then we get some more details for the V-Pets...

Adventure mode returns!



This time the map has 45 areas! The Royal Knights can advance thru the areas and battle the Seven Great Demon Lords!

Connecting the Yellow and Blue V-Pets opens a secret area!



The battle system features the cut in animations and XAI system that adds luck to battle and training.

The backup system also returns! You can save up to 2 Digimon will freezing their training status!

The final battle between the Royal Knights and the Seven Great Demon Lords!


This one will include a booklet similiar to the prior one with illustrations/comics, along with general information about the world of the toy.




We finish with the packaging, which is gorgeous!



Yellow will have packaging featuring Gankoomon X while blue will feature Examon X. The overall style matches the prior Digimon X release.





Pre-orders are open at Premium Bandai for the Digital Monster X Version 3! Each costs 3,850 yen. They ship in March and pre-orders close in December!





Don't forget, the US Premium Bandai store stocked the first Digimon X V-Pet, so it might be worth waiting a bit to see if they stock it again to save a few dollars...

I kinda like Examon's X-Antibody, though the colours are a bit cartoony. Also the switch from gun lance to a beam sword is a bit jarring. Super stoked to see Justimon get an X-Antibody. I thought I was voting for him in vain back during the vote.

Terriermon X gained some dog fur... Dog ear fur on its "rabbit" ears....

Rapidmon Golden X actually appeared along with Royal Knights... Wow look at that armor chest, it does look like it's rabbit face with front teeth!

Wizarmon X didn't see that coming. Even with magical Dark type... He got eyepatch... Don't tell me if Impmon X can evolve into that.

Monzaemon X leaking pink liquid... I hope it's not that... Numemon X's thing. He really resembles that bear pet doll from Mahou Precure....

I'm most happy about Wizardmon X and Rapidmon X. Wished there was a Baalmon X to connect Wizardmon X and Beelzebumon X.

I see some interesting ones among the sprite roster, like Keramon X (as well as two different Baby and Baby II lines). Also, there's now an Ultimate++ tier, with only two hidden members (and two hidden regular Ultimates too, one of which might be Blucomon's long-awaited Ultimate, and the other Pumpmon's Ultimate).

You know, I actually expected Jazamon and Blucomon to be part of this, due to Vorvomon being part of that older Vpet, and Blucomon being a password Mon in the other one. At least now we'll get the real name of the evolved forms of Jazamon now lol (well, the "Japanese" names). I guess one of those black squares is "IceSkyLordmon". We know he exists Bandai, and this time it's not cuz of data mining.

I also was hoping we'd get Hopmon and the pre evolve of Hopmon to finish out the baby forms... and they really should've if Cybderdramon and Justimon X are in here, but oh well I suppose lol.

Oh and Terriermon X is super cute.

edit: just noticed Pumpkinmon. Guess the new ReArise Mega form will be in this too.

Examon X is funny, but I can appreciate them trying to make him look more "knight-like". RizeGreymon X is cool. Wizardmon X is okay. The rest I could take or leave.

Edit: Whoa whoa whoa! That dragon line-up for the Blue one is amazing! I think I might have to get this one, lol.

Oh there are so few "Angels"... But I'm extremely happy for Siesamon X and other Angels got X! So X3 is mixed of X1/2 in digimon rosters even included Pumpmon And Wizarmon.... Makes sense, it's a hybrid of X1/2.... Can't wait to see Siesamon X and Pegasusmon X. Good to see trio Tamer together. No wonder Renamon X got involved for such reasons. Tailmon's line with X forms is all completed (Unsure of Mastemon)

Blucomon's line and Jazamon's line got in it... So Blucomon's line will have official arts revealed soon! Even before 20th day lol what's the point?

Going by how they handled the ??? spots in X2 I'm going to guess the two ??? Ultimates are CrysPaledramon and Pumpmon's evolutions. The two "Ultimate 3" are a total surprise tho:

I can not wait to see what the blank spots be fulled in. There are 4 blanks in each game. Maybe we can see a Jupitermon or Junomon like we did with Mervamon in the first game.

They really like to do the X-Antibodies for the Child and Ultimate stages first, before Adult and Perfect.

Terriermon/Rapidmon Gold, Lopmon/Cherubimon, Keramon/Diablomon, Renamon/Sakuyamon, Dracomon/Examon. Wizardmon X seems to have been designed with Impmon X in mind, so Impmon/Beelzebumon might no longer strictly be a Child/Ultimate pair.

Cyberdramon/Justimon also slightly follows that logic, since Cyberdramon is more recognizable than Monodramon as the "base" stage for Tamers' Justimon.

Minervamon got an X-Antibody because she won a fan voting contest. Her X-Antibody wasn't a hidden out-of-the-blue surprise. There's also no reason to keep it hidden, as Jupitermon and Junomon aren't really significant in any way to the X3 or the Chronicle X storyline. In all likelihood, the hidden Ultimates are Blucomon's Ultimate and Pumpkinmon's new Ultimate. Both of which are technically not formally revealed yet, just like Rasenmon from the previous X2. The hidden Ultimates++ are probably related to the Royal Knights and the Demon Lords, considering the progression of the Chronicle X storyline.

OMG Gaioumon is in them i have to buy both now. Hopefully it gets new pre-volutions in the form of the new RizeGreymonX and CyberdramonX. Im so super excited to see the evo lines for these now. Still wanting to see the evo lines for the X2's (i dont believe those have been reveled yet). Gaioumon may even get new evolutions of the ultimate 2's. This is like the greatest news we have gotten in a while i swear.

Terriermon X Antibody just made me so happy. I voted every day for him during the poll they had. Him and Lopmon are some of my favourite Digimon so I cant believe we're actually getting Rapidmon, Lopmon and Cherubimon X! The wait for all the reveals is going to kill me lol.

I'm also really happy about Pegasmon X. Meramon X and Seisamon X might be really cool too.

I like how they connected some evolutions with minor details despite being from different people. I wonder if any other unrevealed Digimon will have things like that.

And yellow version looks like Gankoomons dragon which is cool. I think wizarmon has symbols or even sprites from magical witches too. And PLEX do sentai and kamen rider designs which is pretty funny. Edit: just realized ShineGreymon's sword is attached to Rizegreymon's gun.

Blucomon and Pumpmon Ultimates are probably the hidden Ultimate stages, which is really cool honestly. I loved that we got information on Rasenmon along with the X2, and I'm happy to see more Digimon that are getting debuted in the mobile games.

Having so many new X-Antibody forms the past year has been great, I'm glad they're continuing to add as many cool new forms as possible for this one. Rapidmon X and RizeGreymon X are the standouts for me so far.

I agree with people who think the Ultimate 3 stage Digimon are related to the RK and SGDL. I know people have already thrown out ideas like Ogudomon and Lucemon SM X, but I'd say Armagemon is possible too. On the RK side, we could get an Omegamon-Alphamon fusion like already mentioned in this thread, or another Omegamon like MM X or Alter-B X, but I'm leaning more toward an Imperialdramon X that draws more from PM, which would work as a "Miraculous" Evolution to both Magnamon X and UlforceVeedramon X, although I think it'd make sense for any RK to evolve into it here.

Not gonna lie I'm kinda disappointed on this roster. I thought it was hard to top Ver.2 and I was right. However, I'm really looking forward to see OmegaShoutmon X's & Ofanimon X's final designs and I'm glad they included Blucomon's & Jazamon's línea, it really fits the aesthetics. The two Ultimate slots will probably go for LordIcemon & Pumpmon's mega in ReArise. About the Ultimate ++ maybe an unexpected Jogress between the Royal Knights X? Yggdrasill 7D6? NEO X-Antibody?

Ps. I have to admit the clear blue one is one of the most beautiful V-Pets I have ever seen!!
