Seemingly the thing teased yesterday, a new V-Pet based on the original Digimon V-Pet has been announced, called the Digital Monster Version Revival.
Well... sort of new...

Based on the information given, it appears the Version Revival of the V-Pets is just a reprint of the version 20th (possibly using the slightly updated boards from the US version perhaps.)
We won't be detailing them, because details seem to match what you would expect from the Version 20th, which we've gotten a few times in the US even, with a 3rd wave coming soon.
The only difference is there doesn't seem to be mention of any special eggs.
It will be available in the original Gray and Brown colors.
Whether anything will be revealed later on... no idea.

Pre-orders are open at Premium Bandai for 3,850 yen each. Pre-orders close on August 5th, and they will ship in December.
Update- Pre-orders are open.
Fun for fans in Japan who missed out, but likely not of crazy interest to those outside of Japan (minus perhaps special packaging, or a reveal later of something new.
US Wave 1 and 2 V-Pets are still available to purchase: (Affiliate links)
Wave 1:
Brick
Gray
Blue
Yellow
Wave 2:
Transparent Purple
Transparent Yellow
Transparent Green
Transparent Blue
If you want to nab these though...
You'll want to contact an intermediary to get these items sent to you. WtW is not affiliated with any, but here are a selection of intermediaries that have worked well for various WtWers and their friends in the past:
From Japan
Rider Proxy
Nippon-Yasan
The Bandai Premium store has also chosen to affiliate themselves/recommend a few potential shops to be used as intermediaries for non-Japanese buyers:
Buyee
From Japan (this From Japan link shows various items that they waive commission fees for.)
Samurai Buyer
DEJapan
You'll want to provide your chosen intermediary with the link to the item. Just copy paste the link to the product pages for what you want and send them a message about it and they'll take care of it after they discuss pricing and their policies with you. The links embedded in the news article for the products are exactly what you'll need to send them.
Some of the intermediaries have a full storefront and may have the item listed, so you may want to check that first.
