Okay, I'm curious now. I know why I have an issue with Seki Hiromi (and for me it's an extremely petty detail), but why do you?
Because to me her name became synonymous with Executive Meddling in Anime I like.
You know, I started to have a serious issue with her, right when I got the first chance to ask Nishizono some questions... At a time, when I had realized, that the worst part in all of the mess that was Digimon Adventure, by far was Hikari and her deus ex machina... And I got to know, that Hikari being in the series, was actually the result of executive meddling on Hiromi Seki's parts.
And when I went on with all that stuff I found that Hiromi Seki was in fault for most issues I had with any of the first four seasons of Digimon. Daisuke not being able to properly grown? Hiromi Seki. Sexist depiction of characters and the stupid jobs in the epilogue? Hiromi Seki. Ryou Akiyama in Digimon Tamers? Hiromi Seki. Kenta getting a Digimon last minute? Hiromi Seki.
And when she started to work with PreCure it was the same. Again. Heartcatch PreCure could have been such a great series, but due to Hiromi Seki forcing an unnessecary focus on Merchandise promotion into the series (a focus that was not needed to sell the toys of the 6 prior series) - as well as her sexist world view... Well, I started to hate her even more.
From what I gather from interviews I read and interviews I made, her point of view basicly boils down to "Children are too stupid anyway and you can sell crap to them, because they are too stupid to realize it is crap. Also children would run away from your series, if you dared to challenge them just a bit. And don't even think about telling children, that girls could be action heroes and scientists, too!"
Considering, that with PreCure they went to have another producer, because writers said, that they would not write under Hiromi Seki anymore... Well, she just seems to be a horrible person and I cannot help but wonder, why Toei still employs her on big projects, even though she has the tendency to clash with writers and directors of the series she is working on.

whao.
I wasn't even aware Kairi had a deus ex, is it how she got the digivice?

What did you think her being Body for the Homeostasis / God of the Numemon was for? An actual purpose?

that's some great new info... finally JewelBeemon officially got a good Ultimate.
I wasn't sure how much I liked Piccolomon evolving to Bacchusmon, at first it seems like they just went, "hey let's just take the first pink perfect digimon we can think of" but when re-reading his profile that mentions his mischievous personality (really something that his most famous incarnation in Adventure didn't have) I could actually get behind him becoming that kind of party loving guy...

Actually giving Insekimon to BanchoGolemon makes me feel cheated, since I think Golemon should make part of the line... And yes, I know it's relative but Insekimon's line is usually Gottsumon > Icemon > Insekimon... Putting Golemon between the Gottsu-family line would feel weird to me...

And, about the pre-evolutions for the members of the Olympus Twelve, it's understandable in most cases, since their previous forms don't presently exist in Hyper Colosseum kind of cards. And their subs actually fit nicely in the theme of each Digimon.
I actually like the idea of Asuramon being Vulcanusmon's pre, it fits nicelly. Now, Piccolomon to Bacchusmon... Well, can't complain much, it's Digimon Logic...

Oops. Forgot to put Venusmon in there. I've edited the post. I was kind of disappointed that both she and Junomon evolved from Angewomon. Surely there were other options, and I'm a little surprised that neither Delumon nor Peacockmon evolved into an Olympos XII member.

BantyoStingmon's Attribute changed from Free to Variable? Another WHAT....

I just finished uploading scans of all the Re# cards on Wikimon for this set so they are all accounted for and can now be viewed, the Olympus Twelve, Royal Knights and the Chosen Children's Digimon from Digimon Adventure. Took me a while, wanted to get them up so hopefully we can get some translations soon. http://wikimon.net/Digimon_Adventure_15th_Anniversary_Set

The card that stands out the most to me is Koromon (Greymon) Re-71, the Digimon that appeared in Hikarigaoka in Nerima in 1995 and protected Yagami Taichi and Hikari from Parrotmon. This Adult Digimon's base attack power surpasses all of the children's Perfect Digimon, its Mega Flame is 580. It is to date, the strongest Blue Frame Adult in this game's history but the cost is staggering, 5 cards from your Net Ocean but interestingly, the last card is represented by an 'X', signifying an unnatural evolution even though it evolves from an Agumon. I presumed it would had overwhelming strength seeing how much damage it did to Parrotmon in the first film in 1999, so much so that the fight was censored in the North American version (blowing off Parrotmon's wing and tearing away most of its lower jaw with its horn).

I see it as sort of a genetically exclusive abnormality, it certainly isn't a normal Greymon due to its gigantic freakish size and ferocious tendencies. I've seen comparisons to Broly from Dragon Ball Z, the Legendary Super Saiyan as he too had a form exclusive to him.

The Awaking Mode, Shoutmon X7 Superior Mode is interesting, I look forward to seeing what its Special Abilities and Appearance Requirements are. Expected higher base attack power though with all the hype surrounding it from the second arc of Xros Wars a few years back, it doesn't surpass Bx-108 Alphamon's Kyuukyoku Senjin Ou Ryuu Ken or Bx-179 Omegamon X Antibody's Grey Sword as some had supposed, they still have the strongest base attack power ever.

I love the set overall, the gold and silver etching cards are beautiful and the artwork is great.

Awesome scans! Thanks.
Mervamon & Shoutmon X7 Super Mode have higher ATK over 900 felt so unreal... Kinda unfair to all non-Xros War cards.

I mean all Olympus Twelve cards share same number of ATKs (Vulcanusmon & Venusmon have lower ATKs because they are not Battle type obviously)
But why Bacchusmon have that "Mode" whose isn't mentioned in this card?

I admit, all Perfect cards looked beautifully epic in Gold.

That Greymon (Movie) card is pretty abnormal for a normal Greymon.

I'm not sure if the scan quality is quite what we need for full translation. Some of the kanji/furigana is too blurry to be easily read. It is nice to see the new poses for those Re Digimon that have them.

You're talking about the scans on wikimon right? I found a japanese blog that has better scans with a resolution of about 700x1000px (even I some seem a tad too dark but that's not that important): http://sidebuttons.blog.fc2.com/blog-entry-16.html

I agree about that movie Greymon card being just really weird, especially the fact that the card is called "Koromon" lol

Ah. I can see clearly. BantyoStingmon does have battle scars. Around the eyes. But I cannot confirm the yellow/orange dot on that mouth.

Apollomon and Dianamon artworks slightly got upgraded with Bandai art style.

The scans are a much higher resolution than mine, yes but unless you have permission from the owner or site hosting the images, they can't be reused on Wikimon or any other site. That has gotten other sites in trouble in the past. If anyone wishes to rescan them once they own them to get a higher resolution so we can read the text printed on it, that's perfectly fine but I wanted to get them up quickly for everyone to see.

It isn't weird about that Greymon being called "Koromon", in the original in was feral and never spoke as it did in the North American version, only in its Baby Forms and Koromon was what the Yagami siblings new it as, especially when the film faded to black going to the credits with Hikari crying out "Koromon" when it vanished. It referes to a specific individual similarly to Zeromaru being called "Zero" on its cards.

I've gone through and translated all of the Digimon cards on the page. I tried doing the flavor text for WarGreymon's card, but it was still a little too difficult to read. Later I noticed that BanchoGolemon's flavor text looked relatively simple, and I was able to translate his and BanchoLilimon's, but couldn't decipher BanchoStingmon's. I'll look at the other cards when I get back from dinner and see if there are any others whose flavor text I can make out (look's like "Koromon's should be doable). I'm pretty sure that the cards for the Chosen Children's partners represent those specific individuals. I see that WarGreymon's flavor text mentions the "arrow of light," and notice that this version of Omegamon isn't a Royal Knight.

PS. Has anyone found scans for the rest of the non-Digimon Re cards in the set? That page only has Gennai, Mimi, and Hikari.
