Digimon X3 Booklet Rough Draft Preview from MonMon Memo! Plus artbook update!

It's time for MonMon Memo 46! This time in MonMon Memo we get information about what will be included in the booklet for the X3 based on rough draft, plus some info about something special in the artbook!



In the previous MonMon Memo we showed off the big news of Jesmon GX and Ogudomon X in the X3!

Pre-orders for Digital Monster X Version 3 Yellow & Blue, the last chapter of the X series, will be closing today!

Thanks to you, excitement for the X3 has grown and (there's a possibility that) it will be sold out before the end of pre-orders.

If you're still wavering on purchasing it, or you're one of many who are still hesitant about buying both yellow and blue to get Jesmon GX, well, make your decision quick!!

Today, we will be publishing the rough draft of the booklet that will be included with the X3!
Chronicle X has currently reached the peak in its story, but here (as it has been previously) it will contain the background story of X3. With "Chronicle X and X3" as a set, you will be able to enjoy 100% the culmination of the Digimon X series!!

The X3 booklet contains "an important scene that's been taken out of Digimon Chronicle X and illustrated"! (They were in the X and X2 as well, did you enjoy those?)


Among the final battles of the Royal Knights VS Seven Great Demon Lords, what scenes could we have picked out ? Today, we'll be showing you a small part of it in the rough draft booklet! Take a look!



Since the X series is concluding, we've decided to make the surprise worth it by showing off two pages!!

Each big page contains a single panel that looks impactful. What you see here is the evolution scenes of Gankoomon and Examon into their X-antibody forms! The very two who grace the cover of the X3!

To tell you the truth, these two pages are actually the first two pages of the booklet. The booklet this time is going to go at full accel throughout, from the top!


Also, the booklet this time will be a full 6 pages!

As you may have already guessed from Chronicle X, the X3 story has plenty of stuff going on, with many memorable scenes!
Even the production committee of the Digimon X3 wracked their brains over which scenes to choose for the booklet. Because of that, we've decided to do the special task of bringing you a booklet with more volume this time!

Maybe your favorite scene will be in the booklet! When it comes to you with the X3, it will come with the other 4 pages, as brushed up and colored versions of the roughs that we've shown you here! Look forward to it!


The artbook will also be ending pre-orders today, and it also contains Chronicle X!

The artbook version of Chronicle X will have the same story as what was published online, but the way the story is depicted will be different!
What we mean by that is that the story will unfold from Jesmon's POV!



With a different viewpoint, the way a scene is viewed, even if they share the same story, will look different! Seeing Chronicle X viewed differently through the artbook will be a must-see!

With that said, the deadlines for the X3 and artbook will be closing soon!

Heh. Well in other panel, Examon and Hououmon X's size seemed to be same? After X evolved, now Examon X's size grew bigger and his head size is same as Hououmon's but way bigger.

Glad Gankoomon X and Examon X's reasons for being on the cover that didn't waste for nothing thanks to this mini comic. Because... Well it was just Examon birthed X Antibody out of nowhere and X evolved led to Lilithmon X's defeat and Gankoomon X's delayed revival and held back due to still "recovering" then... He lies in our hearts as Jesmon GX appeared absorbing Gankoomon X and everything he had & gave for. Ogudomon X sure ruined their glorious glory eh?

Examon X Antibody is Menacing.

Look like the "Demon" army is just full of random X Antibodies chosen even Armors included from Rhinomon X, Tylomon X, Pteramon X, Allomon X, etc from Mini comic series. It saddened me but whatever.

Gankoomon evolving to X in the process is cool to see but it's weird he is already half nude during the X evolution process which I was hoping to see Gankoomon X with shirt on.... :/

and huh, maybe seeing it "through Jesmon's eyes" will be interesting, though that leads me to wonder on if it means unrelated stuff he wasn't there for will be skipped.

Not going to lie would honestly love to have this as a full anime or even a manga i feel it could do well if they did especially how popular the Royal Knights and Seven Demon Lords are.
