Digimon Seekers Chapter 2-3 is out.

With there being 2 parts to the chatper now, the large expostion dumps do feel a bit better however, it doesn’t change the fact that both of the parts this chapter were exposition lol. Eiji making himself an idiot as usual, but the bit about getting perma stuck is interesting to think about. I wonder what the digimon that would suck to be perma mindlinekd to the most would be

A main character is getting fatally screwed by that time limit for sure. I don't see them spending two chapters talking about this DMIA stuff and it don't happen to a cast member we care about. Good to see we didn't have to wait long on that thing ryusenji had to show eiji.

Hyped for Mugendramon especially when taking the chapter 2 trailer into account. In a story about the crack team i couldn't think of a better digimon to get the type of respect it did this chapter.

The X nation is a nuclear power and had recently engaged in cyber warfare in the Digital World to distract from continued terrorist activities that threatened to destabilize the real world.

A number of cyberattacks have come out of there in recent years.

boy howdy i wonder who this is a thinly veiled reference to.

We want to destabilize that sorry, balding excuse for a leader

such a mystery.

Anyway, that bit of political nonsense aside, what are the odds that Tartarus is the guy who Mindlinked for too long and is now stuck in the Network?

Hadn't read 3 due to being busy, now that I have...

The exposition still feels like a negative combination of Ready Player One, trying a bit too hard (X), and Sword Art Online.

Still doing a lot of setup without much payoff, although they have seemingly learned that they need to post more if something is an exposition dump. This time we get 2 or so of them, but more solid getting stuff all at once.
