I beat Tamers arcade mode with Guilmon on HARD difficulty using the timer, but I still didn't get the ChaosGallantmon password, in the extras it still appears as ??? for me.
I would also suggest being able to restart a fight at any time via the pause menu.
Hi! The situation you describe with Megidramon is a bug which appears sometimes, where the victory screen is kept forever. We're investigating it.
About your second point, that's not true. The new versions update your savedata, and in case of issues you'll see a message informing of it and a backup will be done of your savedata to allow us investigate if needed.

If they ever wanted to add black gatomon like how they have black agumon I feel like Lilithmon would be a good evolution cause it keeps the femininity of lady devimon then you can do Lilithmon vs ophanimon

Hello, i not familiar from digimon rumble arena (ps1) cause I'm from digimon rumble arena 2 (ps2).
From my experience after play the game i didn't see jump button need as
jump 1 and jump 2 it work same ask double click (im not familiar how to use it)
Could it happens in future for grab button available cause it game changer in rumble arena 2 ( it interesting to add)
Some stage is useful for using grab button to throwing enemy
It would be awesome to add defend break (only suggest)
Could combination button L1 (defend) + Triangle (special) = special skill (EXPERIENCE from rumble arena 2)
rookie to mega form able to use ultra move set also cool
And yes i found skill can't spam well as rumble arena 2 provided
Could reword button (suggestions)
X jump (x2 click ON)
[ ] normal hit
ā special (let keep what had now)
O grab enemy
L2 grab card (add new card like freeze enemy for 2second)
R2 using card
L1 + R1 = ultra / ultimate move
L1 + ā = extra special move
L1 + [ ] = heavy hit to defend break feature
some combo move with mix normal hit button with special button sound great (example [ ] + [ ] + ā = combo)
Im using
ds4window with ps4 controller work excellent
I'm really sorry if i talk nonsense thing cause this only my opinion nothing harm.
*****THANK**FOR**THE**GAME*****
yes it more enjoyable than
ps3 digimon rumble arena (not bad)
ps1 digimon rumble arena (good)
ps2 digimon rumble arena 2 (I'm addicted to it)
I think that's under the spoiler tag in the first post.
dunno if it's been suggested or not, but a "Continue?" screen would be nice on the special battles... (gotta love getting halfway through only to lose to the one right after, especially when it's a 2 or 3 v 1 and you lose to the last digimon in the fight. Eh, maybe that's just me being frustrated, but THANKS Metalgarurumon for blocking my way through Special 1! meh. I guess Imperialdramon PM's is overrated xD [joking, i love PM, but those fights man. i need to "git gud" as they may say])
i seriously can't get enough of this game. it's like a drug to me now. xD i'm hooked and can't wait to see any future updates!
So, turns out I created this account just to comment too. Man this game is awesome I found it through some random youtube recommendation (Jogos NostƔlgicos, I believe) and I've been playing it since I downloaded it. The format is amazing, I've always been a great fan of Rumble Arena (though I never played the second one). I understand the game is still under development and some things may change in the future. That said, I have a complaint: The game is TOO HARD (lol). I mean, it could just be me, a terrible player, but... My hands are aching now, its the second whole day I spent trying to beat the Special Battle 1. I beat the Special Battle 2 and the Special Battle 4, it was a bit hard, but I liked it. The Special Battle 1 though... I am starting to think it is impossible (at least for me).
Well, sorry for my complaints. The game is going great. I've seen lots of people making suggestions. Would you guys hear some suggestions I have? (besides the difficulty thing)
I'm not sure if it's a bug, but when I pick "Survival - Dungeon" BGM in VS CPU single/team battle, the music won't play and it's dead silence except for the digimons' and stage's voices. I thought it was intentional since it wasn't a battle BGM in the first place, but it's selectable and I can hear the song preview started so I'm a bit confused. The "Survival - Battle" BGM plays perfectly in the other hand.
Another one I'm noticing is that sometimes when a time out happens in Unidentified Network stage and I'm losing(player 1 side), the enemy(player 2 side) may fall down from their starting platform to the one below it for no reason after Clockmon knocked me out. I'm mostly encountering this in the arcade paths with Omegamon and Diablomon on the enemy side and haven't tested it on normal VS CPU with different digimons yet however.
Also a little suggestion, can the Numemon Invasion password stopped appearing after a certain point? I've already beaten all Numemon arcade paths and unlocked Numegamon, but whenever I'm losing in arcade and encountered a Numemon the password will still comes up. I don't mind Numemon appearing for a reminder that I'm losing so much, but the password popping up every time after that is a bit annoying after a while.
Other than those things, I'm in love with the game so far so thank you all the devs for the hard work!
1. How do I update the game?
You simply need to download the latest version of the game from the link above and replace the older version with it.
2. Where can I find my savedata file?
The location is in C:\Users\ "Your username" \AppData\LocalLow\Draco74\ProjectDigimon You may need to show hidden folders in Folder Options since the AppData folder is usually hidden by default.
3. Why is my savedata corrupted?
This usually happens if you open the older version of the game after opening the latest version. So it is important that you do not keep the older version of the game after downloading the latest version. If this was not the case, please contact Draco74.
4. Can I immediately play the game with a controller?
It depends on the type of controller you are using. You can play the game immediately if you use an XBox 360 controller. If you use a PlayStation controller or others, you will need a 3rd party software to access it such as Joy2Key, SCP ToolKit, or VJoy.
5. Can I play this game online?
This game does not have any online features at the moment. However, you can try using an app called Parsec to play this game with other players online.
6. Can I play this game on Mac or Android?
This game is only available on PC for now.

Original post ------------------------------------------------------------
Hello everyone!
I present myself. I'm Draco74, a videogame developer (amateur) currently working on a project called Battle Arena All-Stars, which is a fan version of the Smash Bros series (you can check it if you're curious). I'm here because I'm also a huge fan of Digimon Rumble Arena saga! Specially the first one (a lot of hours there to be able to beat Reapermon with everyone), very nice and nostalgic. The point is that with my current project I have won some experience and I would like to make also a Digimon Rumble Arena fangame using this same "Smash Bros style" that I'm using in BAAS (with some adjustments, but a few ones).
Currently I have played a bit with the concept and I made some Digimon chars to see if this could work, and I think it could! In BAAS I already have Agumon and Veemon added, and I made Wargreymon, Wargreymon X, Imperialdramon, and Imperiadramon-Paladin.
Here you can see a pic of the "demo" I have done:
I have in mind that, in case I work on this project, I would like to do a version like Digimon Rumble Arena 1, but with some addings:
- The X characters (like Wargreymon X), with the same moveset but more aggresive.
- More iconic characters (Piedmon, Kerpymon, Magnamon, etc., etc., etc.).
- New ways to unlock the characters.
- Larger moveset than Rumble Arena 1.
Anyway, this is just an idea I have played with. Would you be interested in something like this?
Man I gotta say this is a really fun game so far. But getting dorumon with the hard requirement seems impossible can't get passed dukemonX he just sucks me in and kills me nowhere is safe because he'll seemingly teleports you into his deadly embrace.
Hi! Thanks for the suggestion with the Numemon password, that's a good point and you're right. I will consider it.
About the other mentioned bug, some people reported a similar thing in the Survival. I take not as well, thank you.
As a global note for the people struggling against the AI in Hard difficulty, we're still making some adjustments to the AI. Don't worry for this and try to unlock other things meanwhile, you will eventually do it.
Okay, now I am someone who will be reading all the posts of this tread, I mean, I am really interested in everything happening about this project. I am way very happy to find you guys are still working on the AI thing so that it may be not that hard. I am really enjoying the game.
I found out that some unlocking requirements must be accomplished without the use of continues (is that corretc?), I wasn't able to unlock KaiserGreymon because I used a continue with fairimon, then I tried again, without using any continues and it did the trick.
For suggestion, I thing it would be easier to have 2 different buttons for specials. For instance, using one button for directed ones (as is) and one button for neutral one. The majority of the neutral specials are for projectiles, I think it would be easier to have them on a separate button where it does not matter the direction you are pressing (except for the direction the digimon is facing).
For a second suggestion, which is more of a request, I would ask for Gaioumon (samudramon), I think he would be great as an evolution of ryudamon. He is my favorite digimon, would be really nice to him in the game. As I think it would be too hard to add him with his Ittou mode for ultra mode, I still would like to ask. Also, it would be nice to see VictoryGreymon and ZeedGarurumon. I also would like very much to see UlforceVeedramon, but I get he is one of the most requested.
But above all of these thing, thank you for the game. It is really amazing!
