Hi everyone!
We are just finishing the month, and you know that we always try to release a monthly update. So it's about time!
New Digimon:
- Housemon
- Argomon, as Keramon's alt mega (locked by default)
New features:
- New Ultra modes: Puppetmon, Reapermon and Argomon.
- Battle rounds.
- New special alt: Piedmon (Burger).
New Ultra modes:
- Puppetmon: He summons Housemon. More details below.
- Reapermon: His defense is increased to S, and he wins armor (cannot be staggered, but cannot block). His special+Up's tornado becomes much bigger with suction effect and Burn status, and his special+Down's fire becomes multi-hitting.
- Argomon: He digivolves into Argomon (Mega). His special+F can produce Glitch status, and his special+Down is unblockable.
Housemon:
Housemon is a very special Digimon. He works as a vehicle for Puppetmon, which means that can be used or not according to the player. By default he will appear once Puppetmon activates the Ultra mode, but can be unmounted by pressing EVO button again.
While mounted the Digimon will be active but his HP bar won't be reduced. The meter bar becomes the HP bar for Housemon, which means that he will be active while having energy meter (the meter will be reduced by the opponent's attacks).
By pressing EVO button Puppetmon can jump of Housemon and continue the battle on his own. If this happen then Housemon will be moved to an inactive state (house mode) and will remain in the stage in case Puppetmon wants to ride him again (by pressing EVO button).
Another important point is that Housemon will explode ones the Puppetmon's Ultra mode is over. This explosion will damage Puppetmon if he is inside Housemon in that moment, so be careful with it.
Battle rounds:
The battle rounds arrive in this update. This feature can be customized in Options menu for the free battles, but in other modes they're fixed:
- In Arcade, best of 3.
- In Special Battles, best of 1.
In case of a double-ko in a battle, that round won't count. Also, the following rules will applied between the rounds (in case you're playing with more than 1):
- The CPU won't use Ultra mode in the first round (in case you are against a Mega or non-evo Digimon).
- The energy meter will be kept between rounds.
- A red sphere will visually indicate in the HUD the number of victories you have in that battle.
Unlockables:
- Argomon: Win 20 battles with Keramon.
*Note: in case you completed it before, just win another one.
Adjustments / Bug fixing:
- Plesiomon's requirements have been updated to win 20 battles with Gomamon instead of 10.
- Fixed the issue when using Alphamon in X Antibody path, as the final boss was crashing.
- Fixed the issue with Neocrimson when receiving the Alpha InForce while doing the special+Up attack (his head was being detached from the model).
- Fixed the bug when the Digimon sometimes were doing weird fast horizontal movements while defeated.
Known issues / Investigating:
- Activating the Ultra mode while being poisoned can make the Digimon be frozen.
