Hi everyone!

We are just finishing the month, and you know that we always try to release a monthly update. So it's about time!

New Digimon:
- Housemon
- Argomon, as Keramon's alt mega (locked by default)

New features:
- New Ultra modes: Puppetmon, Reapermon and Argomon.
- Battle rounds.
- New special alt: Piedmon (Burger).

New Ultra modes:
- Puppetmon: He summons Housemon. More details below.
- Reapermon: His defense is increased to S, and he wins armor (cannot be staggered, but cannot block). His special+Up's tornado becomes much bigger with suction effect and Burn status, and his special+Down's fire becomes multi-hitting.
- Argomon: He digivolves into Argomon (Mega). His special+F can produce Glitch status, and his special+Down is unblockable.

Housemon:
Housemon is a very special Digimon. He works as a vehicle for Puppetmon, which means that can be used or not according to the player. By default he will appear once Puppetmon activates the Ultra mode, but can be unmounted by pressing EVO button again.
While mounted the Digimon will be active but his HP bar won't be reduced. The meter bar becomes the HP bar for Housemon, which means that he will be active while having energy meter (the meter will be reduced by the opponent's attacks).
By pressing EVO button Puppetmon can jump of Housemon and continue the battle on his own. If this happen then Housemon will be moved to an inactive state (house mode) and will remain in the stage in case Puppetmon wants to ride him again (by pressing EVO button).
Another important point is that Housemon will explode ones the Puppetmon's Ultra mode is over. This explosion will damage Puppetmon if he is inside Housemon in that moment, so be careful with it.

Battle rounds:
The battle rounds arrive in this update. This feature can be customized in Options menu for the free battles, but in other modes they're fixed:
- In Arcade, best of 3.
- In Special Battles, best of 1.
In case of a double-ko in a battle, that round won't count. Also, the following rules will applied between the rounds (in case you're playing with more than 1):
- The CPU won't use Ultra mode in the first round (in case you are against a Mega or non-evo Digimon).
- The energy meter will be kept between rounds.
- A red sphere will visually indicate in the HUD the number of victories you have in that battle.

Unlockables:
- Argomon: Win 20 battles with Keramon.

*Note: in case you completed it before, just win another one.

Adjustments / Bug fixing:
- Plesiomon's requirements have been updated to win 20 battles with Gomamon instead of 10.
- Fixed the issue when using Alphamon in X Antibody path, as the final boss was crashing.
- Fixed the issue with Neocrimson when receiving the Alpha InForce while doing the special+Up attack (his head was being detached from the model).
- Fixed the bug when the Digimon sometimes were doing weird fast horizontal movements while defeated.

Known issues / Investigating:
- Activating the Ultra mode while being poisoned can make the Digimon be frozen.

Hi dude, I have a doubt and a problem.
I was trying to unlock Special Battle 1 and I had already won Our War Game mission and Digimon 02 with Omegamon, but I was missing the part with Keramon and even though I got the password; my mistake was placing it without finishing the keramon mission and although the special battle with imperialdramon came out I can't enter, the game is distorted and won't let me play.

An excellent job a great game hopefully and move forward with the project

Great remake of Digimon congratulations to the creators of the project hopefully and in a future update fix that the Digimon do not cross I entered if since sometimes it costs a lot to hit the enemy

Hello, I want to say to all the dev team of this amazing game thank you so much, you're doing what most of game companies never do, which is giving the fans what they wish; an ultimate game.
I wish you add MagnaAngemon and AngeWomon please, they're very cool. And I wish you add the lava stage from Rumble Arena 1 (it's one of the best stages) and the first stage from Rumble Arena 2 (it has a good layout and beautiful environment). I'd also like to report an optimization issue in the dark stage that has floating rocks, it's the only stage that has low fps.
Finally, can you please make the character turn around smoothly and quickly once we press the back button even in air (just like in Rumble Arena 1), I think that would make the gameplay better.

I love this project I play it since v.04 unfortunately I lost all my progress :( (RIP hard drive) what hurts me is that I lost omegamon X I hope they include it again in the future :(
Anyway, I downloaded the latest update and I have a problem: I met the requirement to unlock special battle 3 (defeat 30 viruses) but they don't give me the password, I already reached 70 victories and nothing happens,
change requirement?

Hello!

Hi! Thanks for the comment, for sure we continue working with it ^^

About your question, sincerely I don't know anything about DRA2's engine, and that game is quite old anyway. I prefer to use an engine I'm comfortable with. And nothing in this project is definitive as it is, we're constantly updating things and trying to improve the experience. The graphics could be improved or updated as well, I don't close doors at all to it at some point

About your question, sincerely I don't know anything about DRA2's engine, and that game is quite old anyway. I prefer to use an engine I'm comfortable with. Hopefully they add some mini-games and a survival mode would be an interesting extra mode

Tho we hate to skip updates and try to stick to our monthly schedule, we had to dely this update a bit in order to be sure everything is working as intended. We hope to release it somewhat soon but we think postponing it a bit was for the better in order to deliver a more polished product. Thank you for following the project and looking for the new stuff we try to add regularly.

Thanks for everything, and I think you will be hearing from the actual update quicker than you expect. See you soon!

Hello, I would like to thank the developers of this wonderful game, today I downloaded the game for trial as I happened to find out about it through Youtube and I ended up playing it all afternoon, I hope you can continue your good work!


PS: I hope one day add the UlforceVeedramon, my personal favorite Digimon

Hi everyone!

We needed an extra time to complete this update, and you'll see why now! Welcome to an amazing new season: Frontier!

New Digimon:
- Agunimon, with Aldamon
- Lobomon, with BeoWolfmon
- Mercurymon, with ShadowSeraphimon (locked by default)

New features:
- New Ultra modes: Aldamon, BeoWolfmon and ShadowSeraphimon.
- New Arcade path: DIGIMON FRONTIER.
- New voice announcements.
- New Frontier OST: "Fire!" and "With the Will".
- New special alt: Cherubimon (Black Gear).
- New in-game melee mechanic: multi-hit.

Frontier and the beast form:
In Digimon Frontier season the Digimon adquire a beast form using the B Spirit, and we want to represent this in the game too! Agunimon and Lobomon, then, have a surprise waiting for you: their special+Down attack is the slide evolution! You can play as BurningGreymon or KendoGarurumon without time limit, but with the difference that their energy meter won't grow while they're active. You sacrifice the mega form to win higher stats that Agunimon/Lobomon but without time limit. Use them as you prefer! And of course you can come back to the human form by doing special+Down again.

Mercurymon:

Mercurymon works in a very particular way compared with other Digimon. He has a unique mechanic which is about absorbing energy (projectiles) to, if full, release it as a powerful energy ball. You can user the absortion by pressing and keeping the neutral special attack, and you will see a visual indicator of the energy you have in that moment (in the HUD).
He can absorb all opponent's projectiles, but not the definitive attacks (don't try to absorb NeoCrimson's Ultra beam), so be careful with it and use it in the appropiate moment!
The accumulated energy can be released by pressing special+Down, which result will be according to the accumulated energy:
- If the energy is between 3 and 6 you will release a fire ball projectile.
- If the energy is between 6 and 9 you will release a laser beam.
- If the energy is 9 (the maximum), you will release a huge energy ball.
Each time you use the accumulated energy it will be reduced accordingly, and you will have to accumulate more. Mercurymon's attack stat is high to compensate this fact, so enjoy absorbing the opponent's projectiles!

Finally he can reflect the projectiles by using special+F or special+Up. He is full of tools!

New Ultra modes:
- Aldamon: His neutral special is immediately thrown fully charged, and his special+F and special+Up attacks will throw multi-hitting tornados in front of him. Finally his special+Down's fire ball will produce Burn status.
- BeoWolfmon: When guarding he creates a shield around himself that will reflect the projectiles, and his neutral special throws more missiles. Finally his special+D attack becomes unblockable.
- ShadowSeraphimon: He changes form to Sakkakumon. More information below.

Sakkakumon:
When ShadowSeraphimon executes the Ultra Mode he changes to Sakkakumon, who absorbs you into his dark reality. There you're forced to battle a dark reflection of ShadowSeraphimon who can summon minions to help him:
- When using neutral special Panjyamon will be summoned.
- When using special+Up the chosen one will be Asuramon.
- When using special+Down you will see BlackMetalKabuterimon.
These minions will only perform an attack and disappear, but you should not allow them to do it! They will disappear as well if you attack them.

Sakkakumon counts as a stage evolution, so you'd not be allowed to fight with Armageddemon (as only one stage evolution can be active at the same time).

Arcade path 8:

Digimon Frontier arrives with this update and the Arcade mode is updated accordingly as well. However, this path is still a WIP (work in progress) so it's not yet considered necessary to unlock Numnimon or the golden alts for the Digimon.

Unlockables:
- Mercurymon: Complete DIGIMON FRONTIER Arcade path with Agunimon.
- Arcade path 8: Complete Arcade path 7 X-ANTIBODY.

*Note: in case you completed it before, just win another one.

Adjustments / Bug fixing:
- Melee multi-hit mechanic (where the opponent is trapped while the attack is performed) added to:
--> Reapermon's special+Forward.
--> Chaosdramon's special+Down.
--> MetalSeadramon's special+Forward and special+Up.
--> SlashAngemon's special+Forward.
--> KendoGarurumon's special+Up.
- Fixed the issue where Housemon was crashing the end of the battle if Puppetmon was outside him.
- Fixed the issue where the AI was able to play forever the charge animation of the chargeable attacks.
- Fixed the issue where if you lose against Megidramon in the Arcade path's secret battle, the next round was not against him.
- Hackmon: SFX voices fixed.
- MetalGarurumon X: His neutral special's bullets won't track the enemy anymore, they only go forward.
- Armageddemon: Fixed the issue where he was able to play special attacks in the air.
- Puppetmon (Ultra mode): He can only go back to Housemon if he is close to him.
- Argomon: His special+F attack will make the opponent to lose energy meter when impacting. Also, when being digivolved from Keramon, his special+F attack can make him recover energy meter.

Known issues / Investigating:
- Activating/Finishing the Ultra mode while being poisoned can make the Digimon be frozen. This is still unknown and hard to reproduce.

The Songs,The Path,The Hybrid Digivolutions,Even Mercurymon was one of my favorite villains yet wasn`t expecting him to show up here!
