Digimon Profile #11- Levels

A new Digimon Profile has gone up on Digimon Web!

Digimon Profile #11 is giving basic information on Digimon levels.

It explains the basic levels using Agumon and his various well known evolutions.



Imagery and info uses English level names if the sites translation feature is on.

It also goes over (very basically) the concept of evolution.


Agumon Hakase also points out there are levels like hybrid and armor, but this time they only summarized the main ones.

Does it call Koromon "Greymon" only in the English machine translation or is that an actual typo?

It’s only in the English version. And it’s not really machine translation (it’s Bandai translation, the only thing worse).

Edit: Looking at it, I don’t actually see it call Koromon “Greymon” anywhere?

I kind of expected this Profile-update to come with a new Reference Book entry, since it has been 12 days since the last one. May might've spoiled me a bit, but if we don't get an entry at the end of this week, then it'd one of the bigger gaps of the last couple of months.

Kind of a shame, the pace was really nice. Hmmmm, we're still looking at years until it's up-to-date.

The japanese version mentions Irasuto wa Koromon, but it seems that the translation machine, takes the "wakoromon" as Greymon.

Thursday? You mean on a friday? Unless it's a timezone thing. Since thursdays haven't happened for a quite a while. Last few updates of the month have also been on a variety of days: Mondays, wednesdays and fridays. So they're not consistently on the same day.

But, yeah, this friday could still happen. Let's hope for a sizable update (2-4).

I think they stealth fixed the translation.

Also this seems to confirm what had been suspected in Field Guide Lore thread, Levels I - IV are the natural lifespan of most Digimon with only the strongest being able to go further than that barring a human partner.
