While on the surface transparency and dialogue sounds like a good idea, I also think inviting fans to bombard the creators with questions and opinions might not be a great idea in practice.

To me it’s a bit hypocritical to separate fan by japan and everyone else, let alone the effort to manage two platforms.

Only thing I can make out of them making this site is probably out of “controlling content;” so they can eliminate any sensitive things that otherwise conflict with their franchise plans. At this point I can only have faith on human decency.
