Digimon in October V-Jump- Card Game Booster Sets EX-05 & 15, Adventure 02: The Beginning, Seekers, & Digimon Comic Awards

It's time for all the new Digimon content from the October 2023 cover dated issue of V-Jump!

We start off with two card game pages.

The first focuses on Booster Set EX-05, which has had everything revealed, but does show off some of the more striking cards from the set.

The Booster Set 15 page has a focus on WereGarumon, Garudamon, and Vamdemon, showing off their Ace cards plus option cards. We got an early look at these.

Then we get a page with a number of things...

Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning has a focus showing off the newest poster and going over the new trailer.

It also does a quick look at the upcoming 02 Dim Card Set and the SCSA D-3s also get a nice quick preview.

Seekers gets a little bit, talking about how Seekers levels up usage of the Vital Bracelet. It appears they will do another talk/overview event as they've done a few times, with the new one on August 28th.

As announced when they went over the results of the Digimon Comic Award, the new issue goes over story bits, and judge comments for various entries.

It also gives a nice little preview of each comic.

Wait, they still haven’t announced the actual grand prize winner for the manga contest? I thought they were saving it for this V-Jump issue, but I guess not? Maybe they’re holding it because it’ll be officially serialized as an ongoing series soon?

So they're seriously doing this, huh? Giving 02 the tri. treatment, yet failing to finally have the other Digimon reach their Ultimate forms.... or maybe not. I can only hope those DIM line-ups and this poster are a red herring.

But on a more positive note, I am liking the focus on Imperialdramon Dragon Mode. Here's hoping it can actually do something besides get treated like a glorified airline before Fighter Mode is prompted by its ass being handed to it by a Perfect.
