Digimon in November V-Jump- Ghost Game, Vital Bracelet, Card Game, & More!

It's time for all the new Digimon content from the November 2021 cover dated issue of V-Jump! Update- Added alternate images.


Just a quick overview for now, prepping for the podcast and the size of the text in the images isn't fully condusive to getting good translations, so hopefully we can update with that as time allows.


With Ghost Game less than a few weeks away, we get a nice Ghost Game Spread.

The promo image starts it off , along with a page of info and Q&A.

A second page provides a look at the upcoming Ghost Game Dim Cards (some interesting Digimon showing up in those), and the stickers that will come with chocolates that we found out about awhile ago.

They also have a teaser for the final episode of Adventure!

A double card game spread is dedicated to the upcoming releases of Starter Deck 9 and 10, plus deck usage for them.

We also get a look at the deck sharing over social media that was talked about awhile ago.

It finishes by announcing a Gammamon promo card in the issue of Saikyo Jump out October 4th.

Then we finish with updates for ReArise, and more from Saikyo Jump.

ReArise gets a nice bit focusing on 02, plus a few popular Adventure characters.

Saikyo Jump shows off the previous 'early' version of the Dreamers artwork, this time in color. It goes over the manga starting, the promo card, it appears a Digimon sticker will be included, along with some Digimon encyclopedia bits.

Leomon and Dolphmon make enough sense as generic beast/water lines. Hopefully Ranamon is in there too unless the VBs consider her Rookie .

And I figured Gammamon would get a card soon enough, GG stuff not getting cards until way later would've felt weird so Gammamon getting a card right as the anime starts fits previous anime partner patterns. Like Pulsemon before, where we got him as a promo first then his full line a few months later, we'll prob see the same happen here.

Nothing new about gg, but that's to be expected. The character dims do seem to have less new digimon than I initially thought but the reps they chose are pretty cool still, this might actually be the first time Bracchiomon gets digievolves into UltimateBracchiomon outiside of card games.

And yes, I will choose to take Angoramon digivolving into Leomon as some kind of foreshadowing, thank you very much /j

He didn't even have it in the card game, Brachimon has never evolved to UltimateBrachiomon

Not really. At some point everything was laid out and approved, most likely before we even knew Dreamers existed.

Unless something is very wrong, they aren't going to change something that is done and approved, they're already working on future issues.

If they feel it necessary, there will be a mild apology/correction posted somewhere.

Despite Brachiomon's name, UltimateBrachiomon's primary pre-evolution seems to be Triceramon X, and the ceratopsid-style head does seem to reinforce that. But hey, there's now an official precedent for Brachiomon>UltimateBrachiomon (assuming that's an evolution path) for those brachiosaurus-purists.

For dual-Color starter decks, they seem to focus more on one specific color over the other. Slightly disappointed that GranKuwagamon isn't dual-colored, but at least it's still in the starter deck. Wasn't expecting Junomon though.

I don't recall if Cherubimon Vice was in ReArise already or not. If not, hopefully they'll also add the dark line too. I'd love a new precedent for a Wendimon (and Virus Andiramon) 3D-model.

Why people thinks that every digimon in a dcg set or deck has an evolution line? Also there is witchmon too.
I only see wizardmon being there bc of its relationship with gatomon and he fitting the violet+yellow theme.

Oh yeah, now I see. For some reason I skipped the "End of Your Turn" part, so I wondered why the ability specified that it (or I shoud say its evolution) can DNA Digivolve.
