Digimon Ghost Game Opening Video, Faction by Wienners

Ghost Game has started in Japan, and starts soon outside of Japan, so we have a not quite clean version of the OP!

The song 'Faction' is by Wienners.

Based on a tweet, Director Kakudou returned to Digimon and was in charge of the OP, but declined credit.

Jellymon's Adult form isn't much different from her Child form but just grown up.

This animation is pretty meh. But still interested to watch.

And so Digimon's 20+ year streak of no bad openings continues. My only gripe was Jellymon getting screwed out of a cool action scene at the end. Gammamon got 9 secs, Angoramon got 6...Jellymon got two. Barely.

Finally I see the name so it's Symbare Angoramon and Tesla Jellymon. The Black Cat is a new digimon for sure. Digimon cameo in the opening, I see Metal Seadramon, Lady Devimon, Pumpmon, Arukenimon (not sure) and Lucemon.

You can't see its face beneath the hat's visor. Its ears, gloves, feet, and tail matches BlackTailmon. It's just wearing an obvious deliveryman disguise, like "Leomon in a trenchcoat" obvious.

Seems the naming scheme for the evolved forms will be a thing for all the partners. Stinks that Gammamon might be the only one with alternate adult forms but let's see what they do with that concept.

The song's nice though it kinda loses me on the last third, and the visuals are really fun all throughout!

That one sequence with Kyoshirou on the stairs tho certainly isn't best though, he's got a bit of cross eye going on
