Not sure how I feel about this other than mislead. They really should have just said "new Digimon anime" rather than "Digimon Adventure: successor"
Yeah, it's probably filling the same time slot, but I don't see how that qualifies it as a "successor" as literally any anime could go in the same timeslot. By that logic, they could have called a new PreCure or DBS season a "Digimon Adventure: successor" since it would have been filling the timeslot.

Still, I guess I'll at least give it a fair shake.

I guess this means we also know what those light up accessories are likely to be. One featuring each of the 3 Tamers and 3 Digimon.
Also, isn't this the shortest turnover we've had between seasons in a really long time? Like, i think the last time a new Digimon anime aired two years in a row was Tamers and Frontier.

If nothing else, regardless of it's actual line, at least Jellymon makes for a decent Ranamon/Calmaramon child.

Wonder what the new Digivice is going to look like. I hope it's not just the smartphone the new girl is holding.

This is random guess, but I like if the eyes look like Terriermon's or Patamon's or Cutemon's.

Since Jellymon has those type of eyes, I'd be a bit perplexed if that's what Angolamon looks like. Anything's better than like dot eyes though.

The thing is, some site leaked the DIMs for these guys, so theres a high chance it's gonna just be the vital bracelet. Would love to be proven wrong though.

Bandai always has a V-Pet and an anime Digivice at the same time. Not making a Ghost game Digivice would be a huge missed marketing opportunity.
The way I see it, they can use the DiM cards to promote the show, then use the show to sell the Ghost Game Digivice.

Glad to see this confirmed. After so much Adventure, I am very interested in this.

Honestly, I am optimistic. The 2020 reboot was mostly underwhelming and bland to me, so I'm glad they chose to just wrap it up and do something new instead.

Will be interesting to see, if they came up with a new power up gimmick like in Frontier and Xros Wars or they'll just go the traiditional rookie-to-mega route.

Other than that, there isn't much to discuss yet. One interesting aspect to me, is that the rival cool guy character seems to get the "girly-digimon" and the girl will probably be partnered up with the yeti. Well atleast, if the 1 tamer - 1 partner tradition is to be held up. New Digimon look good. Maybe a touch too colourful and modern for my preference, but overall pretty good.
