Digimon data link - open or not to open?

Hello everyone,

so yesterday finally my Digivice data link (US) arrived! Which is really cool, but I was wondering ...should I keep it in the package and maybe after like 10 - 20 or even 30 years I will sell it in its original box? Or ....should I just open it and have fun with it? (I have already Digivice IC 10x which is Japanese version and I love it so much!) so yeah could anyone who has some experience with this help me out?

Do you want it to sit there on a shelf for 10, 20, 30 years, with a value you don't know where it will go, or do you want to play with it?

If you want a toy/game, open it. If you want a shelf piece that might have added value, put it on the shelf.
