We first found out about the Digimon Collectors Blu-ray Box line about a month ago.

Digimon Adventure, 02, Tamers, and Frontier will also get lower priced rereleases of their Blu-ray boxes in Japan under the branding 'Digimon Collectors Blu-ray Box' between September 2023 and March 2024.

The discs themselves are the same as the prior Blu-ray releases in Japan, but with new labels and a new box design, and we now have a preview of the design for the Digimon Adventure box.

They're going with a very minimal design style, featuring a white box with orange text, an egg cut-out, panels, and lineart featuring Adventure characters, with the same styling carried over to the discs.

We expect the same style to be used for 02, Tamers, and Frontier, with different colors for each show.

Digimon Collectors Blu-ray Box Digimon Adventure is out on September 6th for 20,900 yen.

It can be pre-ordered at CDJapan. (affiliate link)

Raw JP Blu-rays of Adventure aren't as in demand as they used to be in English regions with the subbed set coming out shortly, and already shipping in many cases, but still likely one to be nabbed as a nice thing for the collection for many.

Also available to pre-order are the other Digimon Collectors boxes: (affiliate links)

Digimon Collectors Blu-ray Box Digimon Frontier

CD Japan claims these sets are not region-locked - can someone verify this? I cannot find this information on the product page of amazon.co.jp or anywhere else.
(Yes, I know this is the Japanese only version, which is exactly what I want, but since I live in Europe, I need to double check. At least with DVDs, Japan and Europe were the same region...)
