A couple new episodes of Digimon Classroom based around the Vital Bracelet!

Digimon Classroom is back for episode 8 & 9. Both of these episodes feature the Vital Bracelet.


Gachos, Moni-chan, and the Digimon Teacher are joined by Pulse Murata for these Vital Bracelet episodes.


The first is a Q&A about various elements of the Vital Bracelet.

The second is a preview of the new upcoming Dim Cards: Volcano Beat and Blizzard Fang.


They show off various elements of the new Dims, including our first look at the profile art of various new Digimon, plus battles featuring Digimon from the new Dims!

aw man, those art reveals are all so good. I especially love seeing a lot of Yukimi Botamon in Hiyarimon and the super heated knife the snow mobile digimon is holding. The ice peacock is just beautiful

Hiyarimon is for any Ice child levels to evolve into. Huh I thought it was going to be ice dragon baby but it didn't turn out as that. But it's good thing this design is pretty interesting for having ice beak or nose...!

Frozomon does look like it's really Ice version of Raidenmon! But what's up with that heated knife weapon... It reminded me of a certain youtuber who loves to upload with that degree heated knife to slice random things up!

So FrosVelgrmon is Ice peacock but I admit that face looks a bit scarier. I love that insane details on its tail and veil! Having the ice veil on Ultimate level flightless bird type is AWESOME. But I didn't expect it to look a bit feminine?

Technically, flashier and more colorful birds are usually the males of the species.

I’m a big fan of all three, and I love that Frozo just has a knife. Wonder if FrosVelgrmon’s profile will mention Velgrmon at all.

True. Poor female birds without colorful patterns look like it's easy to be mistaken as male to some people who are unaware of the bird facts.

FrosVelgrmon's legs... Look at that HUGE THICK LEGS! Are there any peacock/fowl species that have huge legs? It made me think of those dangerous cassowary and ostrich birds

Given Adventure:’s recent penchant for throwing in Digimon that weren’t in the Digivice: as situational alternate forms with Ponchomon and Goldramon later on, I wonder if we might get FrosVelgrmon in the anime, if Garudamon has to fight in an icy environment.

I cant believe that some people really thought hyarimon was the blucomon line baby2 stage.
It was pretty obvious that It wasnt, since his Sprite look nothing like a dragon, vorvomon line had a generic fire baby as demimeramon.
And we dont had a baby2 stage ice generic digimon.

He looks so cute, an in-between of yukimibotamon and yukidarumon to me. Now i need a snow man with bear ears Child stage.

Frozomon is so nice, have lot of similarities to raidenmon, his right arm is even the same. And his white fur makes him a good snow terrain Evolution for komondomon.

Frosvelgrmon is just fine to me.

Huh, why not? It has a dragon-like snout + fang + claws, and back spikes that are very common for dragon species. Plus it evolves from YukimiBotamon, a subspecies of Botamon that which we know from Nyokimon's profile, is related to dragons.
His sprite looks just like Babydmon's, minus the wings. Just because Vorvomon didn't get a dragon baby, doesn't mean Blucomon can't have one.
And Moonmon is usually the ice Baby-II digimon.

Guess we have to wait for its profile and see if any of its dragon traits are mentioned.

Make it happen for Penmon. To be that FrosVelgrmon's evo line! They are both flightless birds and Ice types!

Well obviously the profile will not mention for sure. But I'm so curious about his profile if it having "Velgrmon" mentioned or not to explain that.

I’m not sure there will be a mention at all. Shawjamon and Sagomon are both based on the same character from Journey to the West, and Sagomon, who was introduced later, makes no mention of Shawjamon. Sometimes more than one Digimon are based on the same thing despite otherwise being unrelated.

You can convince yourself if you want.
Moonmon and sunmom.. how many times those digimon appeared to can say moonmon is the generic baby2 ice mon?
Have it at least appeared in any media dont being the direct pre-evo of lunamon?

Hiyarimon reminds me of a penguin but nice to have this as a Baby II for Ice related Digimon.

Frozomon being a snow machine with a heated knife looks interesting.

FrosVelgrmon I think is the first Ice bird Ulimate of the franchise, really like that its based on a peacock, the sprite didn't make it clear for me the first time I saw it.

At this rate I guess, the VB sets will have at least one or two new Digimon in them from now on, but since we have more than 1000 different Digimon already I doubt it will be a recurrence, I hope the new ones are used to fill gaps in already existing lines.

Really hoping Bandai relases it outside Japan besides the US, please show some love to Europe!

As I suspected, that is indeed a snow blower spout on the back of Frozomon.

Peacocks are not flightless. They just typically don't fly if they don't need to.

Wow, these official arts are pretty cool (pun intended).

FrosVelgrmon in particular looks really good from what the name alone would have suggested just another recolour.

I really like Hiyarimon and Frozomon. They look nice but also with a very slight touch of creepy as in Hiyarimon just seeming to grow and melt out of the top half of YukimiBotamon.
And with Frozomon I can't really tell if the white part is just ice or some sort of potentially frozen fur. If it is fur, then looking at the treadmills and highly mechanized arms teh actual organic part could come down to just some sort of weird triple, or quadruple amputee fur blob with one eye... and that's pretty neat! Digimon should lean more into weird stuff like that.
There also seems to be a hatch on its top, so I wonder if it's a pilotable Digimon like Mechanorimon with the same dynamic attribute gimmick.

FrosVelgrmon on the other hand... To me it doesn't look right as an Ultimate, complexity wise. It looks more like something Peckmon or Diatrymon would evolve to directly.
Looking at other Bird Ultimates like Zuqhiaomon or Valdurmon (Hououmon being the product of a generally simpler time), their designs truly communicate how massive they are, with monstrous wingspans and very prominent supernatural features, but FrosVelgrmon just looks like a blinged-up bird with a few accessories like masks and such tacked on.
Even the fact that it has four wings doesn't exactly stand out since they are pretty puny. Perhaps it would look more imposing with the tail feathers extended but, with a pretty repetitive and not exactly contrasting pattern I don't think it would add much complexity either, so overall I'm not the biggest fan.

Let's hope they get interesting profiles.

Peacocks are not flightless. They just typically don't fly if they don't need to.

There sure are a lot of Peacock facts in this thread.
Here's one more: The giant plume of feathers on a peckock's tail is called a "train".
I really hope Digimon picks up on this and makes FrosVelgrmon evolve from Locomon at some point.

Hm, initially I hoped Frozomon could serve as Frigimon's canonic ultimate, but looking at the art in full detail I'm starting to feel more like Hyogamon.

I heard some speculation or rather wishful-thinking, that FrosVelgrmon might be the Spirit of Ice's hyper spirit evolution and a further evolution of Daipenmon, but I don't know about that.
