Wow this pattern is too obvious so DoKunemon and ModokiBetamon will be next for sure. 100%.

Maybe Olympus Twelve are held back too long because maybe they have plans for it for future games? But c'mon my patience is starting to get dried lol

Both are pretty much what I expected. A tribal jungle-hunter, and nature-loving knight that uses light through photosynthesis.

What I didn't expect is that Ajatarmon has a Parasaurmon's skull on his arm. I thought it was just a bone-blade in the sprite.

Both of them are amazing.
Two new high level plant humanoids that can be considered males (at least theyre not waifus) and are vaccine, all about them is refreshing.
Ajataramon is amazing, tribal warrior, plant, hunter, assassin and even alien vibes with those two tentacles from its head.
Bloomlordmon is something i was waiting for so long, a male fairy/plant ultimate lvl, and his profile is what i had in mind, a pure heart knight that fights to protect nature, i cant love this digimon more.
His pose reminds me a lot to this dukemon art from digimon fortune:

Too bad we couldn’t swap out BloomLordmon for one of the less imaginative RoyalKnights (I’m looking in your direction, Dynasmon). Great designs and as others have said: nice to have plants above Adult level that aren’t female fairies.

Yeah, MirageGaogamon, ClavisAngemon, SlashAngemon, QueenChessmon, there are tons of digimon that would fit better in the team than most of the official ones.
Tbh the only ones i think that looks like knights are Craniummon, Dukemon and Lordknightmon. And the first one i would kick out is gankoomon.

Nice catch about Parasaurmon's skull! Didn't even see it at first. Both designs are intricate, amazing and a throwback to the older style, like a lot of the new V-pet Digimon. As the posters above have said; Finally some non-female Plant-Digimon.

They were also revealed a bit quicker than I expected, as their release is at the end of august. The new Dynasty of the Evil Dim Card might hold a surprise for us, but I'm not counting on it as of yet (but who knows!). This might leave the 28th or the 30th for a last july entry in the Reference Book, which would most likely be (a group of) older Digimon, once again. My guess is on some semi-obscure subspecies. Or not, as we've already gotten 9 entries this month.

I didn’t even notice this! I guess it makes sense given that Parasaurmon is a Virus. I thought that was a jai Alai cesta.

Gankoomon at least looks distinctive. Too many of the RK are dragon dudes in armor. That makes sense for some of them that evolve from established protagonist dragon Digimon but others like Dynasmon and Jesmon just make for stale designs. Thank goodness they picked Examon over Slayerdramon at the last second given that as a normal dragon he’s gotta distinctive silhouette.

So it wasn't some kind of fish blade but damn. Isn't it usually digimon always vanish into scattering data pixels leaving none of its remains? Unlike SkullGreymon. Seeing the dead skull of Parasaurmon is truly mysterious.

I really like that Ajatarmon's design and everything about him! Vine. Alien. Tribal. Maybe herbalist? If he is really Vaccine.
His helmet and pants have similar symbol... Yeah Courage?

I really likeeee that plant heels of BlumLordmon lol. Pretty unique design. Same thing for spiral thorn spear rapier thingy. Not sure about that purple Venus flytrap arm. It seems it's clearly the big flower petal design designed to be the cape.

Pistmon, Ajatarmon and BlumLordmon are really interesting! Virus and Vaccine Plant and Fairy type. Yeah I'm really surprised BlumLordmon isn't Plant but... Fairy KNIGHT digimon. Everything on him completely lacked Fairy but mostly plant lol. To be honest, having a Plant type Knight digimon would be more interesting.

Well, Digimon have always had "parts" of deceased Digimon, like Ogremon and Titamon carry bones from SkullGreymon and Regalecusmon keeps Zudomon's horn as a dagger, so even though Digimon are supposed to scatter to data somehow their remains stay behind (???). Probably cuz it looks cool lol.

Also technically, Lilimon, Rosemon, Lotusmon, Lilamon, and Rafflesimon are all Fairy-types instead of Plant-types.

It could be that according to the Reference book and Digimon art, dead Digimon leave behind festering, organic corpses - but as a conceit they don't in any other story, medium, or adaptation.

While the Digimon media handle it all a bit differently, Adventures 2020 had an explanation how sometimes Digimon are so big/ancient, that when they die, they leave residual data. So, fossils.

Some might also absorb data and use it on their bodies. Or just steal things. All in all not 100% consistent, but the franchise's lore never was.

@Kamotz It's just covered. There's a tiny amount of the arm's armor appearing behind, at waist's height.

Oh well another digimon mysteries. More new digimon logic that I could never understand.

To be honest I can understand most digimon have some other parts to wear like Jijimon, Gabumon, Zudomon, Regalecusmon, Ogremon, Titamon, etc but they only left their remains that are mostly shells, furs, bones (Not real skeletons but living fossil digimon), horns/claws, data of something but it's never skeleton. Ehh the way you put Digimon Adventure 2020 on gigantic digimon sized ones is just another interesting thing but only their metal shell remains.

It sure gotten more interesting. Poor Parasaurmon.

I don't think BlumLordmon have two weapons. My guess is it's really just petal cape. Not hiding the other weapon. Nothing.

"It looks cool" would just such an extremely boring cop-out of an explanation though. It's not like the setting doesn't have the necessary lore to explain it.

For example Titamon's profile makes an important distinction: "Its large arms are covered in a multitude of skulls, which are all data of the power it has stolen from the enemies it has defeated so far"
The bones are not literal bones that remained, but rather they are manifested from the data of those enemies.
This seems to imply that there's a tamers-esque data absorption mechanic in the profile canon, so that even with Digimon themselves them being sent to the dark area at least a part of their data can remain and be repurposed.

Also, the fact that Valkyrimon can revive fallen Digimon (without a mention of it travelling or being connected to the dark area) implies that any scattering transmitting of data after death is not exactly instantaneous.

I don't think BlumLordmon have two weapons. My guess is it's really just petal cape. Not hiding the other weapon. Nothing.
The petals on his left side are a second weapon since that's what he's fires his multiple seed attack from.

We now havev 3 digimon who can control weather, bloomlordmon, jupitermon, hexeblaumon, any others I am missing?
Hexeblaumon can't control weather, he just manipulates "cold" things in general. That may or may not be enough to cause any weather phenomena, but even if it is, if we go by Digimon with extensive enough powers to impact weather and climate in general the list would need to be much longer but details would depend on how exactly "control" and "weather" are defined.
